SingStar doesn't have flashy drums or a pair of licensed guitars, but this game-and-microphone bundle brings PS3 owners the best way to sing on a video game system.

All in all, the list of songs tells the tale. If you like what you see, Singstar for the PS3 is worth your money.

SingStar delivers one of the most unique and engaging experiences on the PlayStation 3. It deserves a place in every karaoke fan's game library.

A major step forward for the SingStar franchise, the PS3 version of the franchise is well-conceived and nicely handled.

SingStar’s karaoke action may be somewhat limited in an era that follows the release of Rock Band, where so many other ways of playing are available. However, for enthusiasts who aren’t looking for anything that complicated (or expensive), SingStar should deliver some amusing Friday nights with friends.

Apparently you can play games on the PlayStation 3, but it certainly looks like a top of the range karaoke machine from where I'm standing, on centre stage in my living room stadium.

Singstar is still the best party karaoke game for the consoles, but it doesn’t quite step up to the next-generation with confidence. Instead, it steps up the Brit Pop, and that ain’t what we want. Not what we really, really want. Really.
