Yes, it's Castlevania with a Shaman King coat of paint. But it works incredibly well for both licenses. Of course, you do have your usual issues with a Castlevania game, including a lot of backtracking. But having a variety of weapons, and spirits that Yoh can use, help with both combat exploration.
