SCUM is an extremely technical sandbox survival game, focused on a detailed simulation of the human body and resource management. Set in a huge map, it offers advanced metabolism, thermoregulation and nutrition systems, which directly influence the character's performance and abilities. The gameplay alternates exploration, crafting, management of vital parameters and combat, both PvE and PvP. The learning curve is steep and the interface is not always intuitive, but the approach is unique in the survival panorama, offering a deep and punishing experience for the most demanding players.

SCUM is a solid immersive open-world survival game that definitely takes the survival up a notch with its complex systems and engaging gameplay. While a little intimidating for the average player, seasoned survival game enthusiasts will have a blast going through its world and challenging themselves to survive for as long as they can. There is a steep learning curve and bits of clunky combat gameplay, but it's definitely something to try out.

SCUM could be the best open world survival MMO out there. Its huge, has a lot machanics, items, poi`s and enemys. Its a huge sandbox. Thats the pro and also the con: its just that: a sandbox and nothing more. There is no real game in it, no story, just minimal lore and nearly nothing explained, no goal you can reach or milestones you can get to. That can lead into a frustrating loop of grind and repeditive gameplay. The technical situation of the game is bad: Enemys spawning around 5 meters arround you, desync while driving with other players, zombies (puppets) clipping throu walls or at least grabbing you throu doors. Something good for the end: the world really looks nice and the buildings and plants are placed beliveble.

DayZ clone.
Boring map, boring buildings, the buildings look empty inside and they look all the same inside. The zombies are called puppets lol.
Melee combat is just spamming the attack button on the mouse as fast as possible. Blocking doesn't do anything to protect you. No gamepad support. Steam controller layouts are not very good.
The graphics are not bad. Overpriced and ridiculous skins for real money. Not worth the 10 € i paid for this game.
