For the first 5 hours I was ready to give this game a higher score, as I was charmed by this engaging mix of FPS rampaging and hub-based missions. It is then that the issues started arising. This game is quite buggy over 2 years after it has been released, and I had to reload an earlier save 3 times to fix different game-breaking bugs. The developers are also quite poor at designing boss fights, and the first ED-209 and final Boss are complete BS. I've played almost every FromSoft game, and am no stranger to difficult bosses, so I know when a boss is poorly tuned. The game also goes on a little too long and I found the final sections to be a repetitive slog.

A must have for all robocop 1 and 2 fans. It's actually a good game and very fun

The assets give a real nostalgia hit from the first and second films. But that's it. Completely pointless side-plots inhibit already mundane game play.

Adorei o game, gameplay incrivelmente brutal (assim como é o filme original, sem cortes), campanha com história interessante, participação de personagens clássicos, belos gráficos, cenários realistas e a trilha sonora épica dos filmes. Muito bom saber que ainda se lembram de nós, jogadores mais antigos, das gerações x e y, ao fazer games modernos de franquias antigas. Pontos negativos: destaco apenas pequenos bugs e os npcs poderiam ter sido um pouco mais bem feitos. Nota geral: 9,5.

Un jeu agréable à découvrir, surtout gratuitement via le PlayStation Plus. L’expérience est assez classique et linéaire : pas d’open world gigantesque, juste un jeu couloir avec des missions répétitives. Une mission avec les bikers était particulièrement ennuyante, mais à côté de ça, le jeu reste correct. Ce n’est pas un titre mémorable, mais pour changer un peu de style et essayer quelque chose de différent, il fait le job. Quelques **** passages secondaires et mini-activités apportent des moments amusants, sans révolutionner le genre.

I screams the 80s, fantastic game, it doesn't try to be something else than just a plain shooter right in your face. Love it.

The only reason this gets a 5 is for the dedication to the original source material. Robocop is still one of my favorite dystopian movies from the 80s, but the nostalgia trip is all this game has. Right off the bat there was no reason to build this in Unreal 5 and require beefy GPA / Next Gen consoles to play it! The controls are horrible, the UI, and visuals were suited to a PS2/PS3 era game at best and the mechanics are dumb. The dialog and response options are lame. The campaign story and side quests are abysmally shallow and repetitive. This was such a let down that I actually refunded the game originally, only to be gifted it later - and then see it on sale afterwards for $5. Good riddance. Don't ever do this crap again!

Das ist natürlich Geschmackssache – entweder man liebt dieses entschleunigte Gameplay oder man fängt damit nichts an. Doch "klassisch" bedeutet hier keineswegs oberflächlich; ich würde sogar behaupten, das Spiel bietet stellenweise mehr Tiefgang als die Filmvorlagen. ​Respekt vor dem Original ​Ein riesiges Kompliment geht an das Entwicklerteam. Alles, was man hier sieht – egal ob bekannte Schauplätze oder neue Ideen – wirkt absolut stimmig und wird der Vision von Paul Verhoeven gerecht. Es ist beeindruckend, wie das Spiel die Balance hält: RoboCop wirkt von der ersten Sekunde an extrem mächtig, aber gleichzeitig in seiner Beweglichkeit so eingeschränkt („behindert“ im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes), wie es die Figur verlangt. Das Spielgefühl ist dadurch absolut einzigartig. ​Atmosphäre und Charaktere ​Die Liebe zum Detail ist in jeder Ecke spürbar, besonders in der Polizeistation. Alle Charaktere sind hervorragend getroffen und werden mit einer Ernsthaftigkeit behandelt, die man heute selten findet. Man merkt an jeder Interaktion, dass hier Fans für Fans gearbeitet haben. ​Der Antagonist und die Story ​Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen bleibt: Bis zum Ende wird leider nicht jedes Detail restlos aufgeklärt. Das ist jedoch verschmerzbar, da der Bösewicht über genügend Charisma verfügt und als ernstzunehmende Bedrohung wahrgenommen wird. Lediglich seine genaue Motivation und der Weg zu seiner enormen Machtbasis bleiben etwas im Dunkeln. ​Fazit: Rogue City ist eine beeindruckende Verneigung vor dem Franchise. Es ist eine stimmige Mischung aus Altem und Neuem, die zeigt, dass man auch mit einem vermeintlich simplen Shooter-Konzept eine tiefgreifende Geschichte erzählen kann, wenn das Herzblut stimmt.

RoboCop Rogue City is a pretty solid game overall. The gameplay feels satisfying, especially during combat. The weapons have real weight to them, every shot sounds powerful, and the impact of the bullets makes fights feel intense and brutal. The violence adds to the atmosphere and fits perfectly with the RoboCop universe.Visually, the graphics are good and detailed enough to create an immersive environment. Walking through the city feels authentic, and the overall presentation does a nice job of capturing the tone of the movies.That said, it is not an innovative game. It does not reinvent the genre or bring groundbreaking mechanics. It is simply a well made, enjoyable experience. It works best as a fun pastime, especially if you enjoy heavy combat, strong weapon feedback, and that classic, gritty RoboCop vibe.

This is a really good game to just turn your brain off to. It doesn't require twitch gaming of some FPS games do, nor is there any deep system to worry about understanding. Everything is straight forward and fun. If you enjoyed the original Robocop movie, you will probably enjoy this game.

This game would've been great if it came out 10 years ago, but the design the the game is so dated it makes playing through it a slog unless you have an unhealthy obsession with funny Alex Murphy dialog. I couldnt finish it, it bored me.

I understand it's or fans, but for someone like me who knows nothing about RoboCop, I found it to be a very shoddy, clunky game with quite a few bugs and a terrible final hour in terms of design and checkpoints. [5/10]

Dont buy this crap.Quality 15 fps, performance 20fps. Cutscenes 25 fps. Optimalization zero. And checkpoint? Walking 20 minutes in policestation, watch nonskipable scenes and after exit I am in the beggining? Are you kidding me. Dont waste your money and time.

The game VASTLY outstayed its welcome. Up until half the game it was an 8 for nostalgia purposes. It had shown everything it had to show and it was good. It was slow but fun. Then it decided to go on and on and on and on and on and on and o.. They decided to altificially pad the game by visiting the same locations 3 times. Fight the same boss 3 times and do a game of catch and release of the main villain. And then it was over. And then it decided to continue on with the most annoying boss battle than the two headed freak on Callisto Protocol. I ended up hating it and giving it a 3 instead.

Absolutely loved the nostalgia and all the little hidden Easter eggs. The sounds and feel felt amazing. 80s kids gotta play this game.

really fun game with great graphics. its just a very 7/10 experience which is fine. as a robocop fan i had a great time with all the throwback/easter eggs. the humour is also the exact same in a good way. if you love robocop, you will love this game

Muy muy buen juego de robocop para fans, muy buen shooter también pero como juego hablando en general de todos sus aspectos es correcto tirando a regular también, es mejorable, le falta bastante pulido porque tiene un buen puñado de bugs y errores visuales y le falta ajustes de accesibilidad tan básicos como poder agrandar los subtitulos o ponerles un fondo negro, porque es horrible leer los subtitulos en este juego, verdes,pequeños y muy difícil de leer cuando los colores de el fondo del juego se entremezla y no distingues bien las palabras

Free with essential tier. No brainer would recommend. Spent 25 hours with play, achieved Platinum. Grew up in 80’s very nostalgic for me. Gun enhancements interesting, great Robocop story.

Another underrated title from this company, the same thing that happened with Terminator Resistance is the best RoboCop game they've released in centuries, a great game in every sense of the word, if you're a fan of the movies it's a must-have.

This game was great. Sure it's a AA game but man, the gameplay hits hard. Sound is good. The realistic shooting of enemies is awesome. Can't really complain about much honestly. Can only give 8/10 because it's a smaller game. Animation sequences were kinda laughable. It didnt have the depth or progression of combat like other AAA FPSs but thats fine. I recommend it to everyone

Solid game with 80'sVHS vibe well reflected. Fun gameplay. Some boring filler sections but it is alright.

Mechanics and upgrades lack depth, but overall the gunplay is satisfying and the game itself is aesthetically true to the source material.

I am not going to lie, I like this game, but I think it might be age/nostalgia. There are side quests, yes but this is very much a traditional linear, story driven game. Combat is super old school, almost clunky even, not twitch shooter like Call of Duty. It's strength I think is it simplicity and straight forward nature. Fornsome reason, talking around the streets of wherever the heck we're at feels like we're walking through the streets of Racoon City, yes, Resident evil. It's dark and eery, surprising about of detail and the sound design is even good! I like it.

My first score was a 7..some mechanics are really **** to be like more "Robocop **** was required from the gameplay. This game as a good side quests lore, cool dialogues with choiches and even a Character progression. I ran too much to the **** i thought was a mid game from the beginning. Instead looks fine and really polished after all. Tie In's are becoming less popular after **** this IP is something real well **** yes...devs putted love in this. Guaranteed

Extremely mediocre game elevated by RoboCop being the protagonist. This game mirrors the film in that it's entertaining but ultimately shallow. Imagine Deus Ex or Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines, without any soul. Remember walking the streets of Hell's Kitchen or Santa Monica? They had cool music and fun characters. RoboCop doesn't have any of that. It's just walking sounds with characters so mindnumbingly uninspiring they constantly make me question what I'm doing with my life. The combat is F.E.A.R., but the AI is braindead. Also I "love" the generic combat music, that feels like it's on a 10 second loop. It's a fine enough game, but I can't imagine anyone but diehard RoboCop fans calling this game "insanely good". It's insane alright... insanely mediocre.

This was a surprisingly good game, with a lot of attention to detail and fun action. The storyline is true to the source material, so if you were a fan back in the day, you will likely enjoy it. The action is enjoyable but far from perfect, with choppy action sequences. Overall, it's above average and has the potential to be a great game, maybe if the studio puts a little more effort into it in the future it will be considered one of the greats.

I finished Robocop... For me, it's the BEST single-player shooter of the last many, many years. The atmosphere, the gameplay, the story. It's like watching a Robocop movie in the '90s. DEFINITELY better than the excellent Terminator from the same Polish studio.9/10One point deducted for optimization in one episode, where the game ran terribly and not much was happening on screen. In other places, it ran super smoothly on the PS5 Pro.Platinum earned (on Extreme difficulty), time for New Game+ on an even higher difficulty and DLC :)

While not on the same level as the Batman: Arkham series, RoboCop: Rogue City nails its subject in much the same way as Rocksteady's classic trilogy based on DC's iconic Dark Knight. Rogue City is a first-person shooter where you feel like you're controlling an indestructible walking tank. Even with the few mobile upgrades you're allowed, it still feels appropriately RoboCop throughout the entire game. Moreover, Rogue City offers a surprising amount of content beyond just shooting. The city is segmented into rather sizeable explorable areas, with some meaty sidequests to tackle, and some fun, 80s-movie styled NPCs to interact with. The story also fits right at home with a RoboCop movie. It's nothing incredible, but it understands the character, as well as the tone and world he inhabits. I would even go so far as to call Rogue City a much better RoboCop story than either RoboCop 3, or the 2014 reboot film. Overall, RoboCop: Rogue City is a very impressive effort for a mid-budget licensed game, and showcases a lot of care and respect for the property from the dev team.

If you are +30 and liked robocop as a kid, it has a plus. Original voice and face actors from the movie. An original story which continues the movies.

As is usually the case with this developer... the game has its fair share of flaws, but the experience of being Robocop is absolutely fantastic! All sins forgiven. I played it on PC, I played it on PS5, and now I’m waiting for the DLC! Of course, the high score comes from the fact that I’m a Robocop fan! Most other people would probably knock a few points off.

First 5 minutes: no info that shaders are compiling, give us info why main menu is lagging. Can't cap fps, the only options are 30, 60 or unlimited - what is this 2005? Game sometimes crashes, enemies sometimes spawn in front of me. Lip sync doesn't always work, also the AI is bad. Overall game is not bad, and the story is nice, would be an 8/10 if not for the bugs. Feels like a decent AA game with amazing graphics!

A good game from start to finish. Nothing groundbreaking, but fun for a fan of the first two movies. DLC is coming out soon and I am interested in playing more.

Words cannot describe how grateful I am for this title. It's not perfect but I have given this a perfect score because it's the most enjoyable game I have played on the PS5. I love the environments, the upgrades, gun mods, the action is so funny, the gore is pure bliss, Peter Weller's performance is staggering and heart breakingly sublime, and I could not ask for a better attempt at re-creating the Robocop universe. Thank you so much for making it possible to relive my childhood again. Devs, please.. if you are reading this, I beg you to keep releasing new story missions, villains, and content every year. I will give you my full support and keep buying what ever you release. Unfinished Business is a welcomed edition to what I am hoping will be the first of many. I love what you have done so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Pretty bizarre to be honest haha, it's not exactly bad, but definitely not good either. Maybe it gets better aftear a few hours? I guess if you're a Robocop fan this might be awesome.

this game doesn't hold a candle to moder times it's old and slow and when i'm walking around it feels like im as slug walking through syrup

As a 40+ gamer, this game definitely hits the nostalgia. Graphics and environments are incredible and it has a great level of immersiveness. Highly recommend for the older gamers who enjoy nostalgia.

It's a lot of fun and exactly what I want from my AA games. It's loyal to the films. There's some good gameplay which does make you feel like Robocop and the environment is faithful to the Detroit in the films. It's clear a lot of work went into making this as faithful as possible. There's about 12-15 hours of gameplay but for something that released at less than full price, that's pretty good and I don't always want to play 40+ hour games. My only complaint about this game is the graphical artefacts and ghosting problems that the engine has. It's been a year and the devs still haven't fixed this. It's a very noticeable issue in cutscenes and does drag you out of the immersion.

Eu me surpreendi com este jogo. Ele é realmente divertido, a exploração de cenários vale a pena, você encontra momentos de interpretação, e que deixa você, jogador, agir de formas diferentes. Jogo é lento quanto tem que ser, e a pauladaria é padrão filme do Robocop. Só senti falta da trilha sonora mais original, mas jogo muito bom.

Robocop Rogue City ️ Ho provato il RoboCop Rogue City e lo trovato davvero stupendo dal Gameplay alla storia avvincente, il gameplay mi ha divertito come pochi giochi hanno fatto non trovavo un gioco così divertente nel Gameplay nel essere Robocop, io prima di giocare al gioco non sapevo nulla di robocop e non ero un fan di robocop però in questo gioco mi ha fatto diventare fan di robocop mi ha fatto vedere Chi è Robocop dietro all'armatura ci sta sempre un uomo i grandi e sentimenti e pensieri di giustizia e di protezione verso la sua città, Robocop Rogue City ve lo consiglio di giocare perché merita davvero di essere provato e apprezzato, Come dicevo **** fatti bene, la storia avvincente, Gameplay è davvero incredibile, mi ha davvero divertito nel giocarlo nel quasi platinarlo presto lo platinero è davvero un gioco che ti appassiona anche se non sei fan di Robocop come me però se gli dai opportunità ti farà appassionare al mondo e alla Lore tutto fatto bene con passione e grande talento.

This grade is more like a 7.5. This is a simple, little, fun FPS but it feels dated. People were calling it an immmersive sim but it definitely isn't one. The facial animations are pretty bad. Half-Life 2--a 20 year old game--has better facial animations. It just looks very last gen. However, the shooting is fun and it keeps a brisk pace mostly, except for some stagnant parts that hurt the pace of the game. If you put in the time and do the work you're a killing machine by the end of the game. This is a good thing. I'm tired of games with RPG elements, where you don't feel any stronger by the end of the game. I mean, what is the point of gaining levels if you don't reap the worlds?
