Lacks the depth of former PB games.
And the second half is very obviously rushed

Never in my life have I had such a complicated relationship with a game as I've had with Elex.
I've spent 15 hours trying to get into it, in 30 different occasions and just couldn't. Then, it clicked. And God, is it great.
truly.
It has almost every single I aspect of what I love about video games, and it does it thoughtfully and wholly, even if jankily.
A true Hybrid of Fallout-esque games with Soulslike frustration.
Plus, in terms of story, it's a game that explores very interesting ideas in a very German way that is refreshing to see.

Truly is one of the best games of all time if not the best.
Incredibly thought out mechanics, brilliant quests, profound roleplaying, stupendous vibe, amazing story.
The only bad thing is that it's not longer!

I truly believe this game is a glorious masterpiece. True, I'm a Bethesda simp though I don't really like skyrim. Still, this game has everything an RPG should have and it's executed amazingly. The romance is meaningful. All companions are unique with profound personalities. The gameplay loop is very enjoyable. There's a lot of agency and roleplaying almost all quests can be solved in at least two ways. Locations are varied and some are truly gorgeous. There's many types of quests. Each faction questline is a different game basically. World building is top notch and interesting as is the main story and its ideas. In many ways this is the best Bethesda game to date for how RPG it is.
I'll definitely replay this one, and as a hardcore RPG player I consider this one of the top 5 of all time.

Best game of the 2020s so far. I can go all day about the perfection of this game but so many others have sung its praise. Let’s just say that as a reader and gamer of 26 years, I’ve Only consumed a mere handful of stories better than this one

It’s an eleven despite all. The ending, regardless of which path you take is the most underwhelming in the ****’s less RPGish. But it’s a masterpiece. Every damn side quest is a world entire. By far the best side quests in the series, the DLCs are superior to fo3 and NV. The customization and crafting is superior. The lore is the most profound as well as the npcs. In terms of stories it’s the best fallout, and also in terms of gameplay, lore, and replayability. Its themes are also the best in my eyes. It’s also the most fun.

A masterpiece only rivaled in scope by RDR2. A truly moving tale and adventure I will never forget. So much to do and so much freedom given. Meaningful mechanics and amazing characters and side missions. Each ending is truly unique and rewards replays. Only RDR2 rivals the immensity of this game.
