Ravensword: Shadowlands

It sounds cliched, but it's hard to believe I'm playing a game of this caliber on iOS. All too often we see games that sacrifice gameplay depth for visuals or vice versa. Other than a few minor glitches, Ravensword: Shadowlands is the real deal, and is an excellent open-world RPG with a decent story, ample content, deep character customization and beautiful visuals.

You should expect much of the same as the previous iteration, only bigger and better as you delve back into this fantasy world.

Ravensword: Shadowlands's enthralling fantasy world, solid RPG mechanics, and wide-eyed sense of adventure make it an epic proposition - despite a couple of obvious weaknesses.

Ravensword: Shadowlands is a huge, gorgeous game that's by no means perfect, but we're fine with that.

Despite a great graphics and a big open world, Shadowlands feels very unpolished. It's still a nice attempt to bring a classic RPG experience on iOS, but three years after The Last King users have higher expectations.

A fairly basic but still entertaining adventure that provides a wonderful glimpse at the future of smartphone and tablet games.

The best-case scenario for Ravensword: Shadowlands might be to consider it as a budget RPG, but its lack of depth and minor annoyances make it only partially successful at that.
