Graphisme bof. Histoire nul. Starter correct si ces bouzes de 1 ere evolution n'existait pas. Bref, mauvais jeu qui aurait du couter 10€. Mais comme nintendo es nintendo il en coûte 60.

Pokemon games started going in a very bad direction after the release of this game. Just a bunch of half baked and clearly rushed games with the samey Pokemon combat system you have been used to since forever, lame plot, overall aesthetic that feels like an unfinished Unity project, etc. At least the Pokemon designs are good.

C'est vraiment un jeu pokémon classique, malheureusement il n'y a pas grand chose à faire et il est très court.

This game is fine. The world is fun to explorer and there's some cool designs for pokemon. This game is boring because it's to easy. I already don't like turn based fighting and making battles easy makes battles feel like doing chores.

pokemon games are meant to be enjoyable, and this game certainly delivers in that aspect. a fine game from other aspects but enjoyability is where this franchise shines

Pokemon Sword & Shield felt like the moment I realized the series was falling behind. As the first mainline Pokemon games on a home console, they should have been a huge step forward. Instead, they felt like slightly upgraded 3DS games being sold at a higher **** Galar region has some cool ideas, but the game is so easy and linear that most of the adventure feels like you're walking from cutscene to cutscene. The story is forgettable, the villains are weak, and by the time the plot actually starts getting interesting, it's already over.Dynamax is another gimmick that feels like it exists just because every generation needs a new mechanic. Like many of the recent battle features, it never felt like a meaningful addition and was abandoned almost immediately **** Wild Area was supposed to be the big innovation, but it feels empty and unfinished. Combined with the controversial Pokedex cuts and the lack of ambition expected from Pokemon's jump to console hardware, the whole experience ends up feeling underwhelming.

SCORE: Weak 8,0/10 Really overhated game, the game is fun, cant stop playing it. the battles /camera/animations are good, the music in this game is amazing, the cities are beautiful, the story isnt that boring, the characters are funny, the new pokemon are well designed, the ui and the menue is very clean and smooth while using them, i agree that some routes are kinda empty looking but not always, and there are so many pokemon in the game that you dont even notice that not all of them are in the game there are already more than enough pokemon, yeah some trees look bad but these are just cherrypicks for the haters to **** on this game. the characters/pokemon in this game look great, the dynamx/gym leaders are great.

this game was the pokemon game to hook me into this franchise. the game doesnt try to change the gameplay too much; its the same formula but with one of the best regional gimmicks. the soundtrack is a way better improvement from the last games, but it is very easy and moderately expensive. however, as of 2026, you're better off buying scarlet or violet than one of these gen 8 games due to the online services being dead.

Good soundtrack i loved a lot the legendary pokemon. Good story but i hoped better graphics than just a reused of a lot of 3DS game engine

Best Switch Pokemon game by far. This would be a perfect 10 with more animations for fast travel and other tiny features plus the ability to find shinys without encountering the pokemon. Really good game though!

Pokémon Sword is an overall mediocre iteration in the Pokémon series despite the decent cast and story.

En verdad es un downgrade respecto a los anteriores juegos siendo la peor historia de la linea principal pero lo que me encanta la música y los diseños de los Pokémon no es normal, lo que si es normal es que la región se sienta como una via para ciclismo, reducieron los puntos de interés que explorar.

It might be not the best Pokémon game but I don't understand all the hatred it gets! I enjoyed my playthrough a lot and the areas were beautiful, especially Ballonlea town! I know it's linear and not perfect, but it was a new experience which I loved! The only negative I have to say about these games is the cut of the national dex and the absence of a real elite four team!

Honestly, this game is really boring after you complete it, I feel the graphics are fine it has some beautifull views. Also it has iconic pokemon. Overall it gets short in content very soon, feels unfinished thats why you add the DLCs I guess.

Con este juego me volví a conectar a la saga después de abandonarla en la 5 generación, hay algunos detalles mal pulidos y el final de la historia se nota que está echo a la prisa para cumplir el objetivo de salida del juego, porque el resto de la historia es bastante interesante.

It is good compered to the pokemon games after it in 2026 . The storyline is good ,but this was my first pokemon game .and I completed it in 40 hours. As a first time game back in 2019 it was easy so would recommend to any new pokemon players

this is imo the best game to introduce someone to the pokemon games, the graphics isn't as bad as people say it is (just cuz of a random tree) the pokedex is fire the story is okay, and overall the galar region as some great visuals even though the map is just a straight line

O jogo principal é muito rápida, o modo online é bem pior comparado com o online do pokémon brilliant diamons, e só dá para capturar pokémons lendários fora da história se você comprar uma dlc de 300! Um absurdo, eu adoro capturar lendários, só consigo capturar 3 lendários Triste

For recent Pokémon chapters, it deserves an 8, as it is definitely above average compared to what came after it. Intriguing story, some well-constructed characters, very good and memorable designs and settings, legendary Pokémon that have the flavor of the legendary ones of the past. The London setting is sufficiently breathable in many moments. The best Pokémon game in recent times.

It feels more like a tech demo than a living world.Story & Characters: Forgettable, uninspired, and riddled with clichés. Rivals are toothless cheerleaders, villains are laughably weak, and the narrative has no stakes.Pokédex Cuts: The decision to remove hundreds of Pokémon was unforgivable. The game wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting due to the vocal minority that hated this game too such an extreme degree. With metacritic users being this toxic about their dislike for a game the website should really just remove userscores when their compromised.

Very good game despite what people say. No the texture's aren't bad. The new pokemon are fairly good but Mr. Mime is definitely on a list. This is the end of your rival picking the pokemon that's stronger then yours which is sad. No elite 4 is a let down. The badges are ugly. But the art direction and character's look good unlike Scarlet and Violet. I think this was the end of cartoony character in favor of more realistic characters but they only did that for one game and it ****. Post game is kind of mid. For being the first mainline Pokemon game I've played(as a kid) it's pretty fun and the story is actually good(unlike Scarlet and Violet).

It is one of the last good pokemon games and the battles in the stadium is sometimes really hard

I'm Late but this game is Trash! Disgraceful graphism like they're laughing at us , cut down more than half pokemons for absolutly no reasons others than pure Greed and money! Again removing content in order to monetize them is infuriating! Performances issues as well , pokemons pop out of existance , terrible drawn distance, random FPS drops, they lied to us! about using different animations it's been proven already that they're using exactly the same animations as older games , no voice acting , the rest of the pokemons? yeah locked away behind DLC paywall

Gioco sottovalutato, **** approfonditi e presenti. La grafica a mio parere è molto buona, i modelli dei **** son fatti bene e la personalizzazione è buona così come la vasta scelta di pokémon. La storia è scorrevole nonostante meritasse un post game migliore. Le soundtrack sono dei bop totali.

This game brings many wonderful new Pokémon that I absolutely adore. The art style is also beautiful and the best in the series. The routes you walk through are gorgeous. The game unfortunately has 3 major issues. First there is a severe lack of exploration as the routes are more short linear hallways. Second the graphic are outdated. Third there is a lack of content in both story and end game. It’s by far the worst story of any Pokémon game and after beating it, I was frustrated and unsure what to do for fun,

Pokemon sword is an amazing game,having it based off of england was a great choice the world is amazingto explore, the characters are all unique and have great designs, the choices of pokemon to add was fantastic, especially the new ones they added. The wild area was also a great new thing and set the groundwork for a more expanded pokemon world.

Pour moi le meilleur jeu Pokémon ALL TIME. Le jeu est vraiment très bien. L'histoire est très cool le lore est bon et les pokémons de cette gen sont incroyables. Le défi des arènes c'est pas très original mais mon dieu que c'est bien. Les OST dans les arènes sont inoubliables. Bref tout est bien dans ce jeu pokémon. Jouer-y !!

Anyone that shills for these games are NOT a pokemon fan. All of these games are fundamentally different from the core Pokemon experience. If your idea of Pokemon is a truly turn-based RPG where you RANDOMLY encounter pokemon and the focus is on building your team. These games are not for you. This is not Pokemon.

As a lifelong Pokemon fan, I found Sword overwhelming disappointing. This game feels like it lost the magic, care, and depth that once defined the series. I was even unable to finish it.... I could not take it **** graphics and animations are far below expectations for a Nintendo Switch title to say the least. Environments are empty, textures are blurry, and attack animations are nonexistent. For a franchise of this scale, it feels like unfinished and a joke. The story is overly simple without challenge, clearly written and done for very young players. After the first few hours, it becomes predictable and flat — rivals lack personality, the villain is cliché, and the dialogue rarely feels **** so-called “open world” is misleading. The Wild Areas are wide but barren, connected by narrow corridors. There’s little real exploration or sense of discovery, and progression feels strictly guided rather than free. Gameplay-wise, the Dynamax and Gigantamax mechanics poorly replace Mega Evolutions. They limit strategy and break the battle rhythm. Dynamax Raids, meant to encourage cooperation, quickly become repetitive and **** new Pokémon designs feel more and more rushed or uninspired, and the removal of the National Pokédex still stings. Poor professor Oak... if he knew... While reintroducing missing species through paid DLC makes the base game incomplete by design.Even the interface feels clunky and unintuitive, making online raids and trades frustrating to navigate. In the end, Pokémon Sword and Shield plays like a half-finished project — ambitious in idea but shallow in execution. Game Freak seems to have forgotten that long-time fans are still here, hoping to rediscover that sense of wonder, depth, and sincerity that once made Pokémon truly special.

The most bare bones generic pokemon game. Dynamax is an ok mechanic but the post game is basically non exisistent and team yell is lame and so is chairman rose as a villian.

Boring story, boring arena challenges, low difficulty caused by getting exp items easily as hell... Only a mid game in my opinion

A good Pokemon game overall, however, there is an issue where you can't use bluetooth headphones while playing the game for some reason, so I'm taking a point off for that.
