They even copied color choices that The Crew Motorfest did for their UI/Banners etc. No original ideas anymore. You want to play an actual good Horizon game? Go play 1 through 3. You will have a great time.

Didn't like it even back then. Both UG games are tedious and just boring. Back then as well, we thought the super riced out stuff was extremely cringe and ugly. Which if you do a little digging, you will find out the body kits / aftermarket body parts were made by a team from the Philippines who had zero knowledge of Car Culture.

Nostalgia is a hell of a drug. Game did not age well and it was crap even back then when compared to it's competition.

Injected politics. Washed out visuals. No meaningful progression. Back to back worst maps in the series, so this one feels even worse than it actually is. The only thing they genuinely improved were some of the engine sounds, but even so, they lack low bass and proper gain. So even if you crank up your headphones or surround sound. The game just sounds weak compared to previous entries. Do yourself a favor and play the real Horizon games, which are 1, 2 and 3. Not this garbage.

This game is so bad that it does not even deserve my time or effort into writing this review. GameFreak/Nintendo has completely lost all credibility, and they have obviously lost their own way. Pokemon is a far-cry and shadow of it's former self. I will not be buying anymore Pokemon products from this day forward. Simple as that.

This is the beginning of the truly bad trends. Poorly rendered environments. Annoying characters and companions. Extremely short and uninspiring story. Battle Scenes are atrocious. Camera is zoomed way too far in in most areas. Overly bright exposure in a lot of areas. Lackluster pokemon roster, they just dump old gen on you and it kind of ruins the game. Mega evolutions while cool, make the game E-Z mode, you need hacks to make it challenging. The integration of the Poke-Mart into the Pokemon Center is not a welcoming change. The overworld design and map layout is bad, confusing. Lumiose city controls is some of the worst programming I think I've seen. Gym leaders have 3 weak pokemon. Just horrible balancing in general. I wanted to like this game but that is just the reality.

Same review as for FireRed. 10/10 perfect remake for the time. FireRed has better exclusive Mon's and a better boxart design. I always thought they should've stuck with Red / Blue.

This game does have it's flaws, like having way too many uber legendaries (they just made them too OP stat wise) and this snowballed into issues later on for many generations of titles. Lacks a lot of things from Emerald and is generally considered the inferior version.

My rating will be based on the time that this game came out, and on that note. 10/10 remake.

This game was developed by a team who didn't know anything about Pokemon and managed to do a better job than what current developers can push out. It does suffer a bit from age, things like geometry on the pokemon models aren't the best thing to look at, but it has it's own charm. I was fortunate to play these games on release and had the hardware to interact with my Gameboy games. You truly can't have known what it's like unless you lived it. Under a modern scope, this game has some glaring issues, but at the time, it was awesome spin-off and change from the traditional experience. While still following the traditional formula. It also was way more challenging than the main-line games. Which is what I enjoyed the game the most for, besides it's more open 3D world. This is how I honestly thought pokemon games were going to end up looking like on handhelds in the future, but boy is the future disappointing. This is exactly how Pokemon should be crafted today but obviously with way better graphics and features. More pokemon etc. Not this sad excuse for "open world" we have today. There is a mis-communication happening between the company and fans, and shareholders are manipulating the series into whatever genre is most popular. IE, "open world" Pokemon cannot be truly open world, it needs to have it's artistic hand-crafted levels that fully immerse you and make you feel like it's a different place from where you just where. In the new games, everywhere feels the same.

Also the Gen 5 designs just turned me off, and some of them still sort of do. They kind of have a fake pokemon look to them, like user created. Platinum fixed everything wrong with Diamond and Pearl and added upon it. THIS, is the magnum opus of pokemon.

If you love GEN 3 you will love the game but it does still have some relatively minor issues when you consider the whole **** others have said, it is quite an easy one. Gen 3 in general kinda was, but the Mega evolutions really make it easy.There is a lot of unnecessary interruptions in this version though versus the originals. Best NFS game of all time and the best Arcade racer of all time. There is not one single better one till this day. The only flaw this game has is it's length!! I wish it was longer but the short ability to replay it quickly is nice, I revisit it every few years.

This is actually the best Horizon game. FH3 > FH > FH2 > FH4 > FH5. Crazy good soundtrack that I literally still listen to today. Best map we've gotten. I actually played through this one unlike 4 and 5. Surfers Paradise PARKING LOT Nothing has hit like this game in 2016-17

First GT and sim-cade that I ever played. While GT4 is a better game, this game has way better Aesthetics and some of the tracks do look better on this game. This game was my childhood and the first game I had for my PS2.

This might be the best racing game of all time FOR it's time period. It gets hard to pin some of these above others. The sounds, the aesthetic(with Jeremy Clarkson), the progression, the visuals, cockpit view was unmatched, the handling. Fujimi Kaido. This game made me good at drifting in virtually EVERY other racing game, or reduced the learning curve. It also helped me memorize Sebring for track days. Thousands of hours spent online drag racing the Sebring straight. *Chefs kiss*

Best MC title by far. Most fleshed out and has the best visuals. Extremely satisfying handling and sense of speed. The customization is actually fun because the game looks good and there are accurate car models. It has a couple flaws but no need to mention them. You experience them, and move on because it's an amazing game. Spent thousands of hours online.

Oddly enough I feel that Midnight Club LA is the best MC title. I did enjoy the original 2, but something about this game I just don't like. The graphics and the handling are pretty jarring to me. Especially compared to other games at the time.

9/10 because tire screech, car sounds were bad, the handling model leaves more to be desired, a bit on rails. The visuals were a bit weak too but that's the PS2's fault. Photomode is beautiful and on a emulator it's pretty mindblowing that it COULD look like that. GT3 is one of mine as well too. I started on GT but I think FM4 edges both of them out in the GOAT conversation. I also think GT3 had a better Aesthetic than both of those games but GT4/FM4 have a equal one.
