Pid is not only fun and challenging, but nice to look at as well. It's one of those games that needs to be experienced first hand as screenshots and video will not do it justice. If you are still on the fence, I recommend trying out the demo as always to see if it's a good fit for you.

Pid is an excellent game without being aggressively in your face about it. It's slow-paced, thoughtful, and full of quiet moments fraught with melancholy. It's also fun, and that's the most important thing of all.

Pid is a clever little indie title that looks great, sounds great, and provides a decent challenge. Sure, there's currently an almost overwhelming deluge of triple-A blockbusters due to the holiday gaming season, but don't let that distract you from the indie goodness that is Pid.

Brimming with subdued pastel colors, hand-drawn characters, and a trippy, jazzy soundtrack, Pid's aesthetic is peculiar but challenging enough to be fun. [Nov 2012, p.85]

For only $10 Pid offers far more content and a more enjoyable experience than many titles available on the marketplace. If you're a platforming junkie, don't let Pid pass you by.

With Kurt's character design, the smoothness in his movements, and the challenges he faces, I couldn't help but compare Pid to the award-winning Limbo. That said, Pid's exceedingly inviting visual style is a marked contrast to the overbearing sense of dread and isolation in Playdead's 2010 platformer.

Pid offers 12 hours of of pure joy with a lovely story and amongst the best music we've had in an indie game all year.

A bad game it isn't, it just takes time to adjust to. Once you get the hang of abilities and figure out the right tempo for puzzle solving, you're in for one moderately enjoyable trek.

An eccentric but highly enjoyable platformer. [Christmas 2012, p.97]

This game not only challenges you to think outside the box but to have the endurance to continue thinking that way until the level is over and the boss is beaten.
