PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC is one of the best 3D platformer remakes and a superb example of the genre from a simpler time. There's just so much Pac'd in here that you can spend hours upon hours and still discover new goodies and fun challenges.

Following the rules of a good remake, PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC is a great platformer. The revamped production delivers beauty and joy, while the improved gameplay offers good and fun challenges. Going beyond a well-rounded campaign, we have plenty of content in the form of side missions, online rankings, and even future DLC. Another incredible addition to your library, whether you're a fan of the genre, the franchise, or just a great video game experience.

Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac takes a retrospective look at the qualities of the famous yellow hero in a 3D platformer that proves to be ahead of its time. As a remake, it meets all the expectations of a modern update and goes even further: it adds more content and gives a beautiful polish to everything that worked in the already charming original title, without losing its essence.

Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac is a simple and fun platformer. With accessible gameplay, this is a fairly faithful remake that significantly revamped the original's graphics. Despite offering many collectibles and challenges, the campaign is relatively short.

Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac is a lovingly rebuilt platformer that expands on the original’s charm with tighter controls, smoother visuals, and a surprising layer of polish that wasn’t expected but absolutely welcomed. It’s not a revolutionary revival, but it’s a sincere, joyously nostalgic romp that doesn’t overstay its welcome and actually dares to experiment a bit along the way.

If you want a new Pac-Man adventure, you'll definitely have a good time, especially if you have a way to play it portable, an opportunity that's only available on Nintendo consoles. Although there's no problem for those who like to try it on other consoles or a PC.

PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC from developer Now Production Co. and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment is a nice revision of an old 3D platformer. It maintains the essence of early 3D platforming that made it stand out back in the day, while adding and improving modern amenities that make it feel more present than ever. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s fun to play.

This remaster feels right at home in 2025, offering a charming and colourful 3D platforming adventure that's every bit as enjoyable as something made today. With plenty of collectibles and numerous reasons to go back and replay, Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac is well worth jumping into, whether you're a Pac-Man fan or a lover of 3D platformers.

Now Production delivers a colorful, charming remake that updates visuals, controls, and level design while keeping the joyful essence of the original intact; although the camera still causes issues and difficulty spikes remain, the Fairy Mode and numerous improvements make it a polished and accessible 3D platformer worth revisiting.

Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac is the second chapter of a broader recovery operation, one aimed at reviving the main installments of the franchise in three dimensions and making them accessible once again, enriched with a technical sector worthy of modern times and enough additional content to spark the interest of a wide audience (or at least not to disappoint it, since the comparison with contemporary video games arises spontaneously). In this case, the developers at Now Production have done a good job, introducing into the main structure a whole series of improvements, variations, and aesthetic additions that, in most cases, have benefitted it. The game itself remains what it was back then, with its strengths and weaknesses (among the latter, mainly a not-so-exciting level design and a constant sense of déjà vu). However, thanks to a fair price and the success of the modernization itself, we can’t help but recommend giving the yellow ball a chance.
