Necrophosis: Full Consciousness is a haunting descent through a collapsing universe where forgotten gods and endless decay shape every step forward. Its surreal landscapes and grotesque imagery create an unsettling atmosphere that constantly pulls you deeper into its strange world. Even with its simple puzzle structure, the game leaves a lasting impression through pure mood, artistic vision, and existential horror.

If nothing else, Necrophosis presents a captivating artistic vision, drawing heavily on Cyclopean aesthetics and the grotesque. It is undoubtedly a visual spectacle, both in its depiction of the world and in its creature designs. Nevertheless, the overly simplistic gameplay and lack of narrative coherence limit the impact it could have otherwise achieved.

While Necrophosis: Full Consciousness is described as a first-person horror adventure, it's actually more of a laid-back experience with a grotesque visual style. There are some enjoyable puzzles to overcome here, but on the whole its gameplay is rather basic. Still, with a running time of just a few hours, it provides a night's worth of entertainment for anyone who enjoys all things macabre.

A visually unforgettable horror adventure packed with atmosphere, but simple, repetitive puzzles weaken the experience.
