Mouse: P.I. For Hire me ha flipado, es una pasada. Lo que hay que destacar por encima de todo es la música, es una barbaridad, de lo mejor del juego. La jugabilidad es buenísima porque vas notando como mejoras poco a poco y el juego te va metiendo mecánicas nuevas para que no te aburras. El tema de las armas también está muy bien, son todas distintas entre sí y cada una sirve para una situación o una distancia diferente, así que tienes que ir cambiando.Sobre las animaciones de todo el juego, eso es un 10 sobre 10 directo. Es un trabajazo increíble y visualmente son una maravilla, de verdad que da gusto verlo. Además, el doblaje de Jack Pepper hecho por Troy Baker es una fantasía, le queda perfecto al personaje. La historia me parece que está bien explicada y me mola mucho el sistema de ir encontrando pistas para luego ponerlas en el cuadro de investigación; es algo entretenido, diferente y me gusta cómo **** juego intenta recrear las series y películas antiguas estando en blanco y negro, y la verdad que se disfruta muchísimo así, no le hace falta color. La duración para mí es perfecta, me ha llevado unas 15 horas haciendo todo. Por ponerle una pega, creo que un poco más de dificultad le habría venido bien, sobre todo en los jefes que se quedan algo flojos. Pero en general, es un 8 sólido.

A fun game with a real stylistic flair. I had a little trouble getting into the gameplay, but that's very personal and I'm sure it will appeal to many.

Credit to the animators and clear passion and attention to detail for the craft. I will admit the black and white presentation eventually dulled my appreciation, the one color sequence in this game is easily the best looking part. Gameplay and story were repetitive and I was glad to see credits roll.

A great shooter that kindly reminds me why I used to love Doom, Quake and Wolfenstein back in the day. A noir style black and white art style that's just great. Has a 120 fps game mode on PS5 as well.

Mouse P.I. For Hire feels like a genuine love letter to the gaming community. It’s made by a talented group of developers who clearly care about digital art and about giving players something memorable. The game doesn’t need any hard selling; the art direction speaks for itself. It’s stylish, charming, and full of **** animations are hand made, and with that level of craftsmanship, I completely understand why there’s no ultra wide support. It’s an artistic limitation rather than a flaw, and it doesn’t take anything meaningful away from the experience. There are already PC mods that add ultra wide support, and the game looks fantastic with them. Even small visual tweaks, like changing the blood color to red, are available, and they add a fun bit of customization without breaking the game’s style. I genuinely wish them all the success in the world. They’ve set such a high bar that I’m sure it will be **** game runs great and is a joy to play. If you want something fun, unique, and unafraid to be a little silly, this is worth your time. The craftsmanship is obvious, and the whole experience reminds me of what gaming is supposed to be about.

The game was over in 23 hours. I got bored after a point, the story is very good, but I think the gameplay should last 15 hours at most.

This game is just the artstyle unfortunately. Nothing else. The gameplay is very dull, the levels are nothing special and the story is meh. 30 dollars is too much. 5 only for the artstyle.

Beautifully done video game. It truly felt like a very unique experience. Lots of "cheesy" dialogue but super fitting for the 30's noir detective vibe. I did feel like the end game drug on longer than needed. But that aside, I highly recommend it. And for 30 bucks, you can't beat it.

It was really great . Love the art style and surely the voice actors took something bcs its just too good. Insane music and love the plot. Gameplay is really nice especially the gun animations. Really love this title!!

too much cheese besides that I love the art style, the gameplay and all the noir references the game bring to the table, it's definitely a great boomer shooter that you can't miss

Mouse: P.I. for Hire does an excellent job of delivering an old-school FPS experience that feels like a loving nod to classic Doom games, while still having a personality all its own. The game’s biggest strength is its style. The hand-drawn rubber hose animation is incredibly charming, and the 1930s cartoon atmosphere is so well realized that it pulls you right into its world. Every detail helps sell the illusion, from the expressive character designs to the eerie detective-mystery tone. The voice acting is also fantastic, with Troy Baker absolutely knocking it out of the park. The soundtrack is just as strong, perfectly matching the game’s mix of humor, action, and unsettling moments. Throughout the story, you’ll find scenes that are funny, strange, and sometimes genuinely disturbing, giving the mystery a memorable edge. Now, if you’ll excuse me, this game has mysteriously provoked an urgent craving for fondue.

Mouse P.I is a milestone for FPS games. Alongside ULTRAKILL and DOOM, it once again proved to the world that boomer shooters—even when surreal—understand that gameplay is the main focus.From its art direction to its nonsense humor (IGN is a bit insensitive about that), Mouse P.I is probably the indie game of the year.

I'm 6-8 hours in and I am loving it - fun gameplay, stunning art style, storyline is very cheeky and charming and oh boy the music is top tier. If you want a game that is worth your time and money, this is it. affordable price and worth the support to the team, they have done a great job with this game. Can’t wait to play more of it, highly recommend

The story, dialogue, and writing overall is godawful. The gameplay is trite and boring. The enemies are lame. The characters and NPCs are lame. Music? Is there some in this game? Well, it's absolutely forgettable trash. The maps and mechanics are uninspired. Also, we do NOT need celebrities in video games. I need you all to stop jerking off VA's, please. This is ridiculous. Why do people need to obsess so much over actors? It's seems so insane and nonsensical to me.

The game looks good, feels good, the jokes are funny, but I have no motive to play this game. I do not care about the story, nor about the characters or anything really. Its fun and beautiful but for me, it's a mediocre game at best. Guns feel flat, and overall its just mediocre.

The Game is done beatifully with a cartoony artstyle that never gets stale. Its gunplay is great and doesnt need improving. Death animations are extremely funny and comedic especially when you blow someone up and he turns into a pile of ash with eyes.

Reviewing this game based on my experience with many other FPS titles and the numerous boomer shooters I’ve played over the past few years, I sadly have to say that the core gameplay here is very shallow and loses its appeal quite quickly. It’s nowhere near as good as other boomer shooters (like DUSK, Hrot, Cultic, or Prodeus). The shooting doesn’t feel very precise, movement is often too slow, and the level design comes across as artificial. This is a game that draws most of its appeal from its art style. Even the story felt rather boring—I didn’t feel any connection to the characters. Despite that, the game tries to present itself as more than just an FPS by including lots of dialogue. The detective elements also felt redundant. In my opinion, the game would have been much better as a straightforward 4–6 hour FPS without the city map, the unnecessary dialogue, and the dull detective work (which mostly boils down to clicking through evidence). It seems like a lot of these elements were included simply to justify the price tag. Overall, it’s an okay shooter with a unique art style, but not a particularly strong game, and nowhere near as good as other boomer shooters out there.

Esse jogo é simplesmente maravilhoso, combate muito bom e dinâmico, história envolvente, sistema de upgrade fácil e intuitivo de fazer explorando cada sessão no mapa, a arte é linda com uma estética maravilhosa dos desenhos antigos anos 30/40, e essa estética noir com uma trilha sonora muito gostosa de se ouvir. Até agora esse é meu indie do ano. OBS: IGN is stupid.

This game has amazing art, From excellent rubberbanding animation to guiding the player through shades of grey amazing concept, the game gives you freedom to go through the story in a very 90s comedy way. fun elements like secrets and everything comes from the boomer shooters which is implemented in an excellent way, Downside there are few minor part like the clues feel more of a "that's the part of the story" than a part where you make or built the story yourself. The bosses of this game are very well done but some boss battle elements are missed by the player example the Lab last battle you can press buttons to make the boss battle easier, overall excellent game with a fresh new way of representation.

The main character has a strong presence, and the overall tone of the game stays consistent throughout. The voice work and sound effects fit the style extremely well, adding personality and charm without breaking immersion. It never feels out of place, it feels like everything belongs. Where the game doesn’t quite hit a perfect score is in depth. At times, you might wish for a bit more variety or expansion in certain areas, whether that’s gameplay mechanics or narrative complexity. Cara como ficou boa a história, o grafico e o preço bom de mais. Quanto mais eu joguei mais wow ficou 10 de 10.

Fun shooter with an interesting art style. Well produced and is a full game experience. Music is great, and the vocal performances are amazing. The fast paced shooting doesn't compliment the noir, detective, slow storytelling very well. Some might view that as an interesting idea, but I don't think it is as satisfying as it could be.

This PC game version is cool! It turned out great! It's similar to Doom but with cartoonish graphics.

I had a really good time with this game. the style, of course, is fantastic. the gameplay is good fun and I like the weapon variety, even though I wound up playing 90% with the "James Gun." the voice acting is also pretty good - Troy Baker obviously steals the show a bit; but the rest are good also. the story is what drags it down for me. it's a twisty, turny noir story that just never really clicks with me. and I feel it starts to drag, particularly at the end when I would just rather keep runnin and gunnin but, instead, would get pulled into cutscenes and dialog (which are skippable if you choose). but I've heard people praise the story, too. so it just depends what you like. i would still recommend the game if you are a fine of unique game art styles, enjoying running and running with competent gameplay and controls, or just want a silly game that's not so heavy. it took me about 11-12 hours to complete the main story with the occasional side quest.

Even on the hardest setting, the bosses feel too easy. Their placement also feels a bit random; for example, one level might throw three bosses at you, while another long, intense level that builds up like a boss fight ends without one.Overall, while the lack of challenge and inconsistent pacing hold it back from perfection, the atmosphere and narrative alone make it worth the trip. If you're a fan of the 1930s aesthetic and enjoy a deep customization system, this is an experience you shouldn't miss—just don't expect a grueling fight to the finish

As for the story, based on where I’ve reached so far, it’s shaping up to be absolutely intense and exciting.

游戏的美术和音乐没有什么说得，符合游戏基调，至少不是扣分项。 我们现在来看游戏，引导其实不算明晰，高难度下虽然依然不算太难，因为资源给的够足，但是由于怪物像疯狗意义突脸，远程射击又非常频繁，导致其实没什么机会搞地形杀之类的花活，点个爆炸物已经算可以了，还有可能因为爆炸范围问题根本伤不到怪。游戏最大的问题还是在于不太好玩，平铺关卡加上平庸的解密和战斗，寻找隐藏又做的不是很好，所以给玩家带来的正反馈很少。但是游戏的价格还算合理，所以你可以就当是买了一款配乐黑白动画过一遍剧情一本道结束这场旅行，但是作为游戏玩家来讲，游戏性显然是不够的。所以，评分上不会给到太多加分。配音其实也有好好来做，还是那句话游戏的核心是游戏性，游戏性过于向着艺术性妥协，就会是这种轻度玩家叫好产物。其实作为类似的产物，茶杯头会更容易被接受的原因是可以双人联机游玩。是的这就让现代游戏制作技术下，产生了一个古早的游戏产物，双人联机过关游戏，游戏的乐趣从单调的过关变成了朋友间的同心协力或者卧龙凤雏，那么最终带来的游戏乐趣则弥补了游戏性的短板。ps：茶杯头单人游玩其实也非常枯燥，尤其是全收集，凹起来过于痛苦，且没有任何正反馈一点成就感都没有。 另外，我没有因为游戏简中写了法轮功而给减分，否则可能要不及格了。信这个能给二段跳我并不觉得幽默，我希望老外不要总拿别人家的痛苦记忆作为玩笑梗，这对受害者并不会好笑。
