MotoGP 10/11 is a solid enough racer once you get to grips with the somewhat iffy handling. There are plenty of options to play with, a career mode that will keep you going and although the online racing aspect is likely to disappoint due to lack of opponents, it's decent enough when you find a lobby to your liking. The real drawback here is that things are identical to MotoGP 09/10, which again is identical to MotoGP 08. If you already have the previous title, it's debatable as to whether there's enough content here to warrant a full-price purchase, especially given the free 2010 season update for the last game. It's one to wait till the bargain bin beckons.

This year's game is also more of a sim than ever before as the handling model is tougher to crack than a Kevlar-coated walnut... Yet, it's ultimately not worth your time. There's an amazing sense of speed but the feedback's muted in the way the bikes brake, and the first time you jam on the anchors you'll still cascade into the gravel. Adjusting to this is by an approximation of feel – there's little visual indication or general feedback that your rider is yanking on the front lever and squeezing the ball of his foot on the brake pedal, so you just need to guess how much space to give yourself. It's also about as pretty as a bag full of elbows. [June 2011 p.79]

Dreary to look at, grating on the ears and no better than MotoGP 09/10. [Issue#204, p.91]

Poorly made crap game! The menu is full of bugs, the gameplay is terrible, the graphics are horrible, it even looks like a mediocre garbage game!

To me this is the best MotoGP game out there as of writing (2020). Since 2013 Milestone is the sole developer for MotoGP games and they are kind of boring in all aspects. You are riding a beast of a machine but it never truely feels that way. This game is different. When you ride at speeds up to 350 km/h the speed feels terrifying and you feel the urge to start breaking even without a corner in sight. The handling is very realistic and caters well to both casual players and veterans through all of the available assists. The graphics are great even in 2020. I love the lighting model used in this ****'s all very lifelike. The sound idms also spit on for all classes ftom the high pitched 125cc engines to the tumble of the MotoGp beasts. If you love MotoGP then I urge you to give this game a try

MotoGP 10/11 has a few problems such as touchy controls and a lack of multiplayer options, but the challenging races and deep career mode will leave motorcycle racing fans happy.

In short, Monumental Games has done all the hard work – MotoGP 10/11 is genuinely deserving of a place alongside the cream of motorsport simulators; now all the series needs to do is pop open a magnum of Champagne and celebrate the sport just as confidently as it simulates it.

I've been playing the PS3 version of this round a friends and am just as impressed as I am with the 360 version that I own (can't really tell the difference tbh). Great fun in multiplayer and I'm much happier with this version than I was with the previous iteration owing to it's more realistic racing experience (09/10 was good - but a bit too 'arcadey' for my liking). If you want a fun and convincing bike racing experience in your front room - go and buy this now!!

It's the nearest to a bike equivalent of Forza that you're going to get for now but it still feels like it needs a little more work to be a true must have. Roll on MotoGP 11/12, it could finally be what every bike fan is eager for.

Game Over Online
The problematic handling and lackluster nature of many of the game's features makes it impossible to recommend for most players. Unless you're a series die-hard, you're probably fine sticking with last year's entry, or just renting this one. The developers succeeded at delivering a rock-solid online experience, but the core racing gameplay still needs a lot of work before this can become a must-have series.

The graphics are still just old. It's a game that is not visually appealing.

Awesome racing SIM, especially if 4-wheel does little for you these days. A racing bike is something very different, very dangerous, and - once you get used to it (try the assists!) - very thrilling. Great frame rate, incredible physics, sounds amazing, and looks fantastic even at 60fps and with all those bikes on screen. Don't miss it.

The new co op mode is a much welcomed feature to 10/11. Much improved on last years game and online is much more stable now. Really enjoying this version of the game which is bt=y far the best one for years. Nice one Capcom!
