The game looks actually very good and sounds like klassic Mortal Kombat which is good in my book. I also love the story of Sub Zero and the lore it introduced to the franchise. Now the most important thing in a video game is how it plays, and that is the worst part of this game by a mile. Some of the worst platforming and beat-em-up gameplays ever.

I'm 43 years old and I still pull out the N64 to play MK Mythologies from time to time. This game is underrated, and deserves to get a remaster, and potential sequels to the MK story. MK Mythologies definitely has the potential to bring in new players and more MK fans that have never had the change to experience the game. The only reason I'm giving it a 9/10 is because I do love the FMVs from the PS1 version. The actors did a fantastic job. The game doesn't only have a bit of humor, but it tells the back story before the first tournament of MK very well, everything that happened between Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Quan Chi. Sadly, the story never got a continuation. MK Mythologies needs to make a comeback. We are in the generation of platforming games. This is the time to revive MK Mythologies.

One of the most underrated games that had challenging puzzles, good side stories for Sub-Zero, and a scary and mysterious atmosphere.
