Flawed technical state undermines the fun of the top-story episode. Telltale should consider, if it´s not right time to blow out their aging engine out of the window.
Although the latest episode doesn't pull the series down in any significant way, there's been little to no improvement in GotG's gameplay, and it has become clear that this is of no concern to Telltale. Beyond the inclusion of what appears to be a critical plot point and player decision, More Than a Feeling displays all the symptoms of a mid-series lull. Poor pacing, lack of interactivity, and only the slightest advancement of the overarching story lead to the least impressive installment of the series to date.
More Than a Feeling takes two steps forward and one step back, as the team at Telltale finally demonstrate their sense of direction for the season ahead in the most humorous and intriguing episode this far. The lack of diverse environments makes the gameplay seem less subtly formulaic than other Telltale titles, but the significant plot improvements bodes well for the remainder of the season.

Attack of the Fanboy
Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series - Episode 3 "More than a Feeling" cements this as another classic adventure from the developer. Humor and drama are both on display in full force. You'll face some tough choices here, and watching the face of a disappointed crewmember will not be easily forgotten

Telltale is clearly trying hard to make their Guardians series feel like Guardians of the Galaxy. Whether it’s the goofy montage that plays out to a typical Guardians track, the bickering in the group, or just one of Drax’s superbly-delivered one-liners, episode three continued to just feel like a good time.

More Than a Feeling was an overall better episode than Under Pressure. It feels like a second half, with episode 2 having gotten all the exposition out of the way, finding and using the Eternity Forge gave Episode 3 all the oomph it needed. With 2 episodes left, I remain invested in seeing what’s in store for the Guardians and what happens to bring the Galaxy back to status quo.

With a touching look into the backstory of Gamora and Nebula and an existential question over the morality of life, Guardians of the Galaxy episode 3 sets up an emotionally provocative endgame with a superbly fleshed out group of characters.

And now, this episode's defining choice - one that actually does promise to reverberate through the next two episodes - pits doing the right thing against doing right by the people I care for. And who's not to say that the latter isn't the "right thing" in its own way?

Like the previous two episodes, Episode 3 of Guardians gains enough momentum with its most engaging relationships and story beats to carry itself forward. It continues to build upon its characters and gives meaning to its choices, but it also suffers from similar problems, including poor gamified sequences. A cliffhanger ending interrupts the excitement of the scene and ends up feeling forced, which is less intriguing after two prior episodes of manufactured suspense.
