The new touch-screen controls, level creator, and colorful presentation make March of the Minis an even better puzzle game than its predecessor.
A fun, challenging, and addictive game. The levels are short, and easily digestible, making this the perfect game to pick up and play for a few minutes on the go, while this very nature makes it difficult to put down.
It's not the most challenging of games, but I think it's cute and very entertaining.

More of the same trap-filled levels through which you must guide the mini Marios. Little difference from the first game but the few tweaks they have made actually decease the puzzle element in favour of platforming which I personally think was a mistake. Still a fun, undemanding little puzzler nonetheless.

The gameplay is great fun and varies throughout with new themes, changing obstacles and introducing great new abilities for the minis at a carefully planned and gradual pace. It looks great, it sounds great and the WiFi functionality is a wonderful surprise that we're only used to seeing on the PSP.

The gameplay all revolves around the touch screen, and the puzzles and boss battles are interesting and well designed.

Great concept, well executed. Good enough was that they brought something to the mario universe, but not expected it to be this fun

If you're good enough, it'll last ages. If you're just an amateur dabbler, at least you'll get to see the ending. What's not to like? [Dec 2006, p.32]

If you appreciate action games with major puzzle and strategic elements, then March of the Minis is for you. In particular, the game is perfect for players interested in level design.

Using the Nintendo wi-fi connection service, users can then send their designs to friends to solve, bolstering the game's long-term appeal.

A mixed blessing. It's got some fun and elaborate puzzles, although some get a tad too elaborate to manage at once. Also, certain parts of the gameplay mechanic, such as the responsiveness of the touch screen while steering Mini-Marios around, don't function as well as we would have liked.

A little more development time to polish some control quirks and hide away 20 or so super-difficult levels for the intrepid, and March of the Minis would have been a much more memorable DS release.

A great solid game. The ability to make your own levels and the high amount of puzzles/aka levels in the game give this a solid 8 Replay Value: High: You want to make your levels often and play some worlds again to unlock secrets Story: A decent, but good story. Extras: Awesome level building

Nothing spectacular, it may be just because this is a strategy game and those generally don't resonate well with me just because I find them to be pretty boring. This game was ok I guess? Nothing really stood out to me and honestly it took me a while to even remember that I ever played this game. The one thing that really boosted the already low score of this game was the make your own map and share them online. It seemed like a miniature version of mario maker. Which I find to be pretty cool even though you can't go back and play it now. I don't think this game deserves a higher score but I see that it tried to match up against some larger titles

I am sorry, but this game isn't that great. It starts off great, with beautiful graphics, a nice cutscene, and really solid gameplay and level design. Then at about world three, things get stupidly complex, and all the fun goes right out of it. This is really only for those people who love both frantic scrolling, tapping and rubbing, rigorous level memorization, and replaying a level repeatedly until you beat it. For me, it really wasn't fun. It was just too complex.
