Buy this for Ninja Hideaway, the butchered Coconut Mall, and leave the rest to dry. I'm sorry, but even though Nintendo improved the Booster Course Pass overtime, it's baffling how little effort they put into the 1st wave.

Only get it if you're really desperate for new tracks but it's such a huge drop in quality from the base tracks both graphically and mechanically. None of the mk8 features are even used, it's like they forgot they were making the tracks for mk8. The ported tracks are even a drop in quality from the original systems they were on. Literally the only time I've had a nintendo product refunded.

I’m gonna be honest, this was a rather mediocre start to the DLC. Paris Promenade literally has no mushroom shortcuts, Coconut Mall got totally massacred, somehow they chose 3DS Toad Circuit over other tracks like Wario Shipyard or Rosalina’s Ice World. The other tracks are alright I guess but this was the worst wave yet.

The word that can define this DLC is: Laziness. The graphics and quality of this tracks are below the base game. It's the first DLC in my entire life that changed the original graphics to something worse. And the graphics is not the only problem. No one of these tracks have the main mechanic of the MK8, the anti-grav thing. All the tracks are messy ports from the Mobile game. The Nintendo Switch is not a smartphone, please don't to it again.

The first wave are what i like to call "the humble beginnings" and it really shows. The art is bad in some stages and a lot of them are really boring

While, these courses aren’t as polished as the other courses, they will still guarantee a fun time with friends with some great music in the background.

Out of nowhere, a huge new wave of tracks for Mario Kart 8. This is the first pack of 8. PROS: MORE MARIO KART: It's hard to say "no" to more content for one of the best racing games in existence. GOOD NEW TRACKS: A very welcome injection of freshness for long-time players, and they're good too. LOTS OF VARIETY: From wide open speed tracks to tricky corners and environmental hazards, each of these tracks has its own character. Even if you're not fond of all of them, there is sure to be something for you in here. CONS: SMELLS OF MOBILE: A deep-pocketed company like Nintendo could have done a better work of porting these tracks to the Switch. The level of detail is recognizably inferior to the existing tracks, and it's clear that the new tracks were ported quickly, often from the mobile Mario Kart game. We're talking about one of the flagship games on Nintendo's only console. There is no justification for Nintendo not spending some extra care adding more details.

Se nota el que solo buscan exprimir al máximo el juego, con el mínimo esfuerzo sin duda no es la versión para switch, sin duda estas pistas debieron ir al Mario kart tour por el estilo de arte y la calidad de texturas y detalles de jugabilidad.

The mario kart 8 deluxe dlc is mostly really good, with a few exeptions (like ninja hideaway, the worst mk8 track ever). The music is great, the design of most tracks are extremly good (especially the paris track), and the art style is fine by me, even tho it isn't the original art style. Overall I think this is great.

Mario Kart uma verdadeiro esplendor e pura diversão com boa qualidade no entretenimento.

Não chega nem perto do tratamento das outras pistas, mesmo as que vieram como DLC no Wii U. Mas pela quantidade acho que vale.

Art is bad. Paris promenade is boring, Coconut Mall is less enjoyable than original. Most tracks seems "off". Ninja Hideway is the only interesting track because of how technical it is, but the rest looks like asset pushed in Unity with global illumination (Coconut Mall is such a disaster). More love should have been pushed is those tracks. Please don't do this again Nintendo!

Great additions, just too much for a game this old. Also waiting for staggered content from a game that released originally in 2014 is a bit of a weird flex on Nintendo’s part. Their usual quality is very present though.

Es ist eine tolle Erweiterung trotz dem wenigen Inhalt und ein wahres Nostalgie fest

For the first wave of many, it’s great. A lot of awesome tracks, and the tour tracks are very nice first experience for those who haven’t played tour. The popular legacy tracks like Coconut Mall and Choco Mountain feel a little off, but maybe that’s just me preferring Mario Kart 64 and Wii over 8. And the fact that you can get it for free with the NSO expansion pass adds great value to the NSO service.
