Mad Carnage
Mad Carnage is simple enough to get into, which by itself is positive. Thanks to its cartoon art style and lack of technical issues, the game's first impressions are overall positive but unfortunately, this does not stand for too long, as the levels quickly feel repetitive and the gameplay mechanics end up being too simple for its own good, resulting in a game that is more dull than it should be.
It's a shame to report that this one's a disappointment. All of the excitement that should have been is replaced by turn-based u-turns, trying to get into a position to shoot the opponent. Avoid.
Mad Carnage has a few things going for it in the form of its movement mechanics and the comic strip-led story sections, but they’re packaged together with an experience that doesn’t do them justice. Everything else is far too basic, and thus it fails at building a cohesive experience that we could recommend.

this game is really simple and basic as a grid based game can get. it isn't too bad, but there is not enough stuff to do. the turning is a big problem as well. the big problem with this game, is that its too bland. all the backgrounds are brown and boring. but otherwise its cheap so eh

Even though this game is grid based, there isn't any tactics in this game. You either move and shoot exactly how the devs want you to or you fail and start over. Trying to use momentum to determine movement in this style game is awful. Turning around takes most vehicles 4+ turns. I only spent $2.50 on this game on sale and I don't think I'll get my moneys worth.

Mad Carnage's premise is incredibly unique and has a lot of promise. Unfortunately, the restrictive nature of its story campaign and bland visuals make it not live up to its full potential. Here's hoping we see a much improved sequel sometime down the road.
