Kung Fury: Street Rage
If any game was crying out for a boss battle, it’s this one. There is simply no reason to spend more than a few hours on this title at most. Yet, what’s there is really challenging and addictive.
Kung Fury: Street Rage is an addictive and challenging beat-'em-up in the right hands, and a somewhat entertaining one for a night in with some drunken pals.
Kung Fury is a lot of fun and it’s been a game that I’ve been excited to play during any downtime over the past couple days. I haven’t quite hit the top of the built-in leaderboards, but there’s always room for improvement.

I originally bashed the game here, but since then they updated it and added more features. So I am increasing my review grade a bit. Below, the original review. I have seen and played better flash games at Newgrounds. This game is fun, but it is kind of a rip off to pay for it any amound of money. Don't get me wrong, I love Kung Fury, it is pure genious. This game, in the other hand, isn't good.

If you were lucky enough to hit puberty in 1985 then you are one of the lucky ones to have experienced the dawn of arcade video games in the late 70s and 80s. The movie 'Kung Fury' is a very funny and clever take on that time and if you remember the 80s firsthand then you know just how brilliant the movie is. This game is a well made extension of the movie and that time. Is it perfect, deep, or original? No, not really but hey, that's what you got back then. And you know what, it didn't matter because you were just damn happy to have it! Remember there was no internet, smartphones, or streaming media. This game has all the things that made a game from the 80s cool, fun, simple, and addictive. Like Kung-Fu fighting, great upbeat music, and the Lamborghini Countach for crying out loud! What more could you ask! The game is $3.99 on PSN. Same price as a Big-Mac meal in a styrofoam box back in 1985. Hell yeah Kung Fury!

Honestly I wasn't expecting much from Kung Fury with its very low price and little fanfare surrounding it, but I'm a **** for pretty much anything 80's themed so i decided to give it a shot. To my surprise, it is actually an awesome rhythm/beat em up ? style game. It's relentlessly addictive, and with only 2 button inputs to punch left and right, it's extremely simple yet hard to master (I know pretty cliche). Music is great too and fits the action well. Maybe a couple different backgrounds and online leaderboards could've helped flesh the game out a little, but for £2 I can hardly complain. Overall : RADICAL !

Addictive beat'em up/rhythm game with 80s arcade styling. It's not the deepest game, but very good fun for the price. One of the few licence games that are better than the film!

Ever wonder how the Batman Arkham series would look if it were dumbed down a ton and made into a 2D side-scroll beat 'em up? Enter Kung Fury. It's not that I hate the source material, I mean who doesn't love killing ****, but **** alone do not make a game good. I am baffled by the "8" score this gets, even as a niche appeal its pretty weak. The 30 minute short on Netflix inspired by the game isn't terrible, but at least its free with subscription. This was an obvious marketing ploy, but f*** it. 4/10, because f*** ****, that's why.

Better, free mobile games you can buy. Way to little content to cost anything. Hell, if it was a mobile game I would raise to maybe a 4/10. But as it stands, its overpriced mediocrity.
