When Infinity Nikki launched, I played every single day. I 100%ed the base game, did every event quest, battlepass, got every daily login. I was genuinely in love with the game and it's world. It took just that 1 update to ruin it all. Retconned the orignal opening, buggy mess, insane prices for prop objects. Just a wave of greed and 0 effort in one go. I haven't touched the game since May 21st 2025, when the game was virtually unplayable. I only got a black screen and lost several days of login rewards. Infold Games' only response was "Nah we won't compensate you. Just use a different device" We were warned by players of previous Nikki games that this would likely happen, but it hit so heard and fast, it was jarring.

I love this game. I couldn't put it down for 8 hours straight. It's very cute and colorful which appeals to me. The gameplay revolves around roaming a bunch of large open areas and collecting various items such as materials to make outfits with, treasure chests, Whimstars reminiscent of the collectables in other games (Banjo Kazooie, Mario Odyssey, Spyro, etc...) and glimmer, an in-game currency which can begin used to purchase various things (outfits, Whimstars, etc...)The graphics are great for a free to play title, and while I did experience some issues (momo disappearing, blurred face in one cutscene) it was never game breaking. The music is also stellar and enjoyable to listen to as you travel the vast world discovering secrets and obtaining collectables. In fact I became so addicted to collecting and exploring that I ignored the story missions for **** story itself is not particularly interesting to me, But I'm surprised at some of the dark themes it incorporates. Additionally the missions tied to the story are fun regardless of how invested into the tale you are. There's combat in the game, but it's very simple. Most enemies perish with one hit like the enemies in the original Crash Bandicoot and Spyro games, but I actually like that. Because you see...this is one of the most chill, laid back games I've ever **** I stated above you can go for hours and hours just collecting, exploring, and beating enemies with little fuss and all smiles. I haven't perished once yet so if you're looking for a challenge you won't find it here, but if you want a fun platforming collectathon then this is one of the best. Even better is it's free to play, and you don't have to spend a single dime to beat the game.

Devs changed pity rules and the lore of the universe. Also, they released a buggy, unplayable mess in the latest patch. I've been playing since launch and I'm beyond disappointed to lose such a wonderful game, I hope they undo their mistakes before it's too late. I'm a whale but I didn't trust myself so it's uninstalled now. STAND STRONG

Even Genshin has become more merciful gacha system, if you re not f2p dont play ever never, the new update is very disappointing too

Disaster ****. I have never seen a game do such a 180 from incredible to making every attempt to self destruct like this one has. Devs have lied about every action theyve taken for the past 3/6 months the game has been out. They have no design direction and just gave empty promises until players got upset- now have gone dark. Bugs, predatory practices, incoherent storywriting and retconning. The game is currently unplayable for several platforms due to bugs. Complete radio silence on any of the issues. Do NOT play this trash game.

massive alterations in the last patch changed everything. stories un accessible, bugs every where, outfits disappeared, and monetization. Fortunately we got to have a real teaching moment about how even if you really like something, its important to know when to walk away so your not take advantage of.

The game developers have proven themselves to beunreliable. The latest update severely changed the previously written story. Community favorite characters have been partially removed from the story. Furthermore, all prices in game have been increased a lot now. Things generally cost around 30 Euros to 250 Euros or higher, even small items. We expected a continuation of the storyline, but instead the story was broken and the game was filled with bugs (still unresolved weeks after the update). The game feels lackluster now.

Blending a dress up game with super mario mechanics is quite a fun combination. The story wasn't too bad. Parents might enjoy playing this game with their kids as gameplay is not difficult at all. The toughest part would be the styling challenges, but if you take your time collect the necessary materials and enhance the correct pieces you can clear those no problem.

A vast and beautiful world with lots of collectibles, cool quests and an amazing sountrack. The different textures in the dresses are from another world. Although it's fully f2p, this is the first gacha I put money in because it's crafted with lots of care, it has constant content and QoL updates and I wanted to support the developers. I want to play this for years to come.

Overall gameplay loop is perfect ahd the story was engaging enough to keep playing. But the part where the game shines most are the outfits and there's plethora of them to collect from. Whether you guy them from exploring or buying them. You'll never run out of options by mixing and matching them to make your Nikki look super unique.

Quite simply put, the inability to invert the Y-axis on the controller makes this game totally unplayable. As such, a game I cannot play for such a trivial reason deserves a zero. It's quite unacceptable to have quite a comprehensive settings list for the controller and camera in the options and then completely neglect the camera options that 30% of players use on consoles, especially in 2025 when it could have been easily patched in at a later time (which as of today, still hasn't)

The game is an excellent dress up game. While some users have come across clipping issues, Infinity Nikki has done great in general. Hats and hairclips accommodate every hairstyle and the visuals for each outfit is amazing. It excels at glittery graphics and details of stitches and sequins with a detailed photography/camera feature. Styling contests are quirky and are essentially a stats game based on the clothing item you wear. You can level up the clothing items to boost your stats to defeat opponents. Unfortunately, styling contests are far and few between. However, the game does lack in various aspects. For an open-world game with several areas to explore, it is sorely missing rich worldbuilding and lore. The main questline is your typical fluff storyline seemingly geared towards elementary school children. Main characters are easily forgettable and grand reveals are far too transient to give a lasting impact. The game relies heavily on gacha mechanics. Shimmering store icons during an update clearly set a precedent of the game's ultimate motive. Fortunately, lashback from the community prompted devs to revert the shimmering store icons. But it is still evident that the game is pushing in-app purchases for its primarily female audience. A single premium outfit can cost upwards to $38 USD. Gacha pulls for an entire outfit will cost upwards to $99.00 to $110.50 depending on your luck. This only includes if you are purchasing packs and monthly/weekly deals. The rate for top-up diamonds is much worse and will cost you at least $250 to get a full outfit. Trying to be conscious of my spending for 2025, I calculated how many 5-star outfits I could pull if I chose the monthly pass for a whole year. It only amounted to 1.5 outfits I could fully complete based on a $4.99/month subscription for 1 year. Paired with daily wishes that grant you more stellarite, you can at least clear 2 full 5-star outfits. The odds are definitely NOT in your favor. Now of course, purchasing premium dresses isn't a must (though highly helpful in styling contests). Some of the best top-tier dresses are craftable in-game. Unfortunately, if you don't have money, then you have to have time to spend farming materials. Some 5-star outfits can be evolved into 4 different colors, but farming materials will take up to a month to get different evolutions because you are capped by stamina (otherwise referred to as vital energy). Once you use your vital energy, you'll have to spend money to get more. As the game releases more content and more outfits to evolve, you have to pick your battles wisely. Do you want to get more colors of an outfit? Do you want to progress the main storyline? Do you want to beat styling contests? Or do you want a larger wardrobe with more outfits? It is a game that relies on never-ending chores, tedious parkour-esque puzzles, and mundane storytelling. For speed players who want to maximize material drops from bosses locked behind the main quest, the game has seemingly grown mundane. There is nothing to do. And while Infinity Nikki has recently pushed updates, the new quests hardly add to the world-building or lore and feel much more like another hoop to jump for extra treats. Truly, the gacha mechanic seem to magnify the game's greatest flaw. Dress up and photography is phenomenal but exploration and world-building makes it a tedious farming game for players who want to be served more than just visuals.

Beautiful outfits and an engaging story. A lot of adorable and cute elements, such as brushing animals or interacting with the cute npcs of the world. The story isn't overly complicated or filled to the brim with confusing names, words or concepts, like a lot of other open world gachas are. A lot of different stuff to do like fishing, capturing bugs, and fighting esselings (the enemies), all to create amazing looking outfits. There is 0 fan service, which is a HUGE bonus. It feels like Infinity Nikki is an open world gacha that is finally catered to women all across the globe, and not like other gachas where they seem to mostly disregard this audience, just so they can keep releasing the same one dimensional "waifus". This game has a lot of potential, and I look forward to being there every step of the way!

No invert Y-axis option → Baffling lack of consideration that renders the whole thing unplayable for many players.

The game put a lot of pressure on my GPU and CPU. I prefer to play it on my own Android. Story and gameplay is good and interesting. If this game would be available for Nintendo Switch I would be very happy. I don't like play on 60 FPS with High quality and even i used low settings from the game and wasn't useful.

One of the best games I've ever played out of the thousands of games I've played. Top 20 potential for sure, if only story & dialogue were better, everything else is practically perfect. Character customization is amazing of course, but I was not expecting the platforming & puzzles to be as grand as they are. I like the fact that you bless monsters instead of just killing them, I wasn't even expecting combat at all in this game but they added it in nicely inline with the "cozy calm warm" vibe. I like that you're not just petting animals with nothing to gain from it, you groom them & get materials, the fishing mini-game is done very well, bug catching is quick & easy, using different outfits to do skills & use powers is neat, you can use "wishes" in the gacha system to unlock alternative outfits to these skill/power outfits. The environment & graphics are so beautiful, you easily get lost in the world with lots to do, I've been playing for 5 days straight & keep getting distracted from the Main Quests. Game controls handle like Bloodborne which I love, everything is easy to use & understand, I switched to PC from playing on PS5 though because there are a lot of menus & it's much easier to navigate with a mouse/cursor. If you like character customization, puzzles, mini-games, platforming, & collecting things, you'll love this game.

This is one of the most addictive games I’ve ever played. The amount of creative detail in the world and Nikki’s outfits is nothing like I’ve ever seen. I haven’t put this game down hardly at all in the past 3 days. It’s one of the most coziest, whimsical, and magical games I’ve ever played. The gâcha system is its only drawback. However, since the game is free, it’s understandable that they want to get paid for the new content they continue to create. The luck factor is nonexistent. There is no good luck in this game, sadly. Luckily there are a lot of codes to get free gâcha pulls. I’m beyond excited to see what comes next!

The controls for a controller aren't completely intuitive. The menu system is complex (as with most gacha games) and takes time to get used to. That's the only reason I'm not giving it a 9, as it's a gorgeous game and a lot of fun. The story is fairly interesting and voiced acted. The gameplay reminds me of a cross between BotW & Genshin Impact. I do think the game caters to a younger audience because the gameplay and puzzles are simple, but I personally find that quite relaxing and fun. Also I cannot stress this enough - the clothing is GORGEOUS!! I have never seen clothes this beautiful (the colors, the textures on the material, the movement) in a game. AND it's free to play. So far I've been able to have a lot of fun without spending any in-game currency at all, although there is a reasonably priced monthly subscription model. Bring the game to Steam!!
