Infernium
While the game has tons of personality with an interesting concept, a fun challenge in some areas, and even a New Game+ feature that adds new surprises, it's ultimately a Frankenstein's monster of other games cut together. If leaving players lost and confused in Hell is Infernium's goal, then it has succeeded.
Infernium seems like the kind of game you’ll either love or you’ll hate. Either you’ll adore the way it mashes together a bunch of different ideas, or it’ll frustrate you to the point of wanting to never see the game again. I definitely fell in that latter category, but it’s a mark of how distinctive this game’s vision is that I wouldn’t begrudge anyone who sees it the other way.
When you’re being chased it’s honestly such a heart-pounding moment. It simply misses the mark in other areas needed to be considered a truly great game.

Made by an absolute madman. First person horror puzzler. Often frustrating but with time and persistence you will slowly make your way up the stairway to heaven. Such a heavenly reward awaits you there! You will learn to love the pain.

Why did I buy it? Because the robed thingy looked cool... Why won't I play it? Because the robed thingy was a trap so I'd buy this worthless mess. This is more boring than counting the wax droplets fall from a 10 foot candle.

Infernium more like infuriating Its rare that I dislike a game so much that I cant be bothered to complete it before I review it, but this is one of those times. Take my review with a grain of salt if you must. but this game is just awful basically you absorb energy from orbs that can be used to unlock gates.. there are gates with different symbols so you need to run around this world collecting new tattoos.. and by run I mean very slowly walk a,d very slowly dash which saves you 0 time so is only useful for hopping gaps… however the dash mechanic here feels lazily placed as the game will give an indicator that you can dash further than you actually can… just ultimately making the gameplay and dash copping feel frustrating.. youre not alone in the old dashing wizard simulator though.. there are hooded figures around that make for some admittedly terrifying moments… if this was just the game then there would be something halfway good here.. but its not.. if these hooded figures catch you youre sent into some limbo… however I could not figure out how to escape this place so being caught was essentially a game over… I would just restart with a new game completely… and after getting decently deep into the game , getting caught again and giving the limbo one more chance for me to figure out and escape… I couldn’t.. I was done. this game lacks polish and direction. view it as a permadeath game and these something here… view it as what it actually is though and its just a frustrating infuriating confusing mess. I give infernium a 3.5/10

Overall, this game left me in shambles as I would feel a sense of extreme dread as I made progress throughout each world as I never fully knew what reaction any of my decisions could cause. However, it gave me a sense of relief and wonder when I would solve the puzzle given to me and continue forward to see what challenges awaited me next.

It’s survival horror, but it’s not scary. It’s a puzzle game, but those are not so challenging either. And still, everything fits perfectly. Infernium causes addiction with its difficulty, causes frustration with its graphics, causes anguish with its sound quality and wonders us with its design.

Infernium is a survival horror game with a creeping, insidious kind of logic. It gives you very little to go on and punishes nearly every wrong turn you take. If you’re a fan of old school survival horror you might get into this one, but most other players will probably just get frustrated with the repetition and trial and error.

Infernium delivers a strong visual representation of Hell that bucks the standard trend in entertainment media. Sadly, the game also plays like hell with poor controls and frustratingly obtuse design choices.

SummaryInfernium, a survival horror approach to Pac-Man. Dive in a non-linear beautiful portrait of hell, die in a prison without bars and overcome a brutal penitence.
