Неотполированный алмаз на 10 часов геймплея при среднем уровне сложности. In Sound Mind — это ООООчень достойный инди-триллер на психологические темы с элементами метроидвании, но с парой критических изъянов. Игра дарит отличные эмоции и глубоко затягивает, но всё же это именно алмаз, а не бриллиант. Минусы (почему игра не стала бриллиантом): Боевая система: Посредственная и абсолютно не цепляющая боёвка. Сражения ощущаются для галочки, чтоб геймплей не превращался в симулятор ходьбы, что вроде и плюс, но все равно по своему минус. Отсутствие разнообразия противников: Критический дефицит врагов — за все 10 часов геймплея встретится буквально два типа рядовых противников. Ужасная оптимизация: На обширных локациях, где проходит большая часть игры, оптимизация просто ОТВРАТИТЕЛЬНАЯ. Из-за просадок кадров повторное прохождение становится непреодолимым барьером. При первом прохождении эти проблемы терпимы, но возвращаться в игру не хочется... Плюсы (что делает игру алмазом): Сюжет и лор: Годный и проработанный лор происходящих событий. Истории персонажей по-настоящему цепляют и вызывают желание проходить игру дальше. Геймдизайн: Отличный левел-дизайн с чиловыми, логичными головоломками и задачками. Боссы: Креативные *преследователи* на локациях, к каждому из которых нужен свой подход. Атмосфера и звук: Отдельно стоит отметить ШИКАРНУЮ музыку от группы The Living Tombstone. Треки идеально вписаны в настроение персонажей и создают правильный эмоциональный фон. Несмотря на технические огрехи и скучные сражения, это невероятно ДОСТОЙНЫЙ Инди-триллер, который точно стоит внимания ради атмосферы и истории.

possibly the biggest underdog in all of gaming, got this for free on epic games and couldnt believe how good it was; i had to purchase on steam to add it to my 100% games because of how favourable it was

Just overall a fantastic game! Absolutely slept on. The story is solid, the combat is very well done and bosses and puzzles are in that sweet spot where it's not too easy and not too hard. Not to mention the Soundtrack by The Living Tombstone! I highly recommend you check this game out if you haven't yet!

In Sound Mind | 2021 | PC | Played for: 16h Horror setting meets puzzle solving. It is not as scary as Penumbra's/Amnesia games, although in some moments it reminds **** story overall is interesting and well paced. Game is quite linear and puzzles are ok. Graphics fidelity and performance are poor, but visual design is well executed. Gunplay is awful but the mirror is a nice gamechanger. Music and voice acting are superb. Story: 9/10 Gameplay: 7/10 Graphics/Physics: 7/10 Music/Sound: 9,5/10 Final Score: 7,85/10"

I liked the approach to the story, but I didn't like the gameplay, the cat and the music are very good, but I'm tired of playing. And after the finale, a pleasant impression remained, but with strong sadness, which is sad.

Game-Play technisch nicht das Beste in seinem Genre, aber ISM liefert eine starke Story mit viel Wow und Aha Effekt ab. Die einzelnen Level sind schön gestaltet, allerdings sehr einfach zu bewältigen. Wer viel Wert auf eine glaubwürdige Story mit eindeutig starkem roten Faden legt (wie zum Beispiel ich selbst :D), der wird hier glücklich

Tapes, Horror und Scifi Story: In Sound Mind erzählt die Geschichte eines Mannes, der in einer Art Zwischenort gefangen ist. Er hat Zugang zu seiner Wohnung, aber seltsamerweise passiert etwas Seltsames mit dem Gebäude. Bei seiner Arbeit als **** sah er die unterschiedlichsten Patienten, denen er versucht zu helfen. Dabei ist er sich nicht im Klaren, dass er auch seine eigenen Probleme hat, die ihn am Ende besiegen, bis er in eine tiefe Depression verfällt, aus der er trotz unserer Hilfe herauskommt. Meinung: Das Spiel führt uns durch mehrere Level, um die Krankheiten der Patienten zu bekämpfen, verkörpert in schrecklichen Bossen und düsteren Szenarien, in denen wir Hinweise sammeln. Wir versuchen die Geschichte jedes einzelnen von ihnen zu enthüllen, und komplizierte und gut gestaltete Rätsel lösen und Tapes suchen. Die Tapes sind In Sound Minds die unterschiedlichen Levels. Im Laufe der Tapes werden Sie auf neue Gegenstände stoßen, die Ihnen in dem Apartment helfen. Das Gameplay ist einfach und leicht zugänglich, wir rücken vor und kämpfen gegen die Schatten, die diese trostlosen Albtraumszenarien bevölkern. Das Spiel ist Grafisch sehr gelungen, und kann mit einer tollen und spannenden Story Punkten. Es gibt Gute Action, gute Bosse, befriedigende Erkundung durch dunkle Schauplätze voller gut durchdachter Rätsel. Ich fand nur, dass sich das Letzte Kapitel zu lange gezogen hat, das ewige herum Gerenne bis zum Endgegner war einfach nur eintönig und nervig. Daher nur 08/10

Buen Juego. Lo que nos presenta ‘In sound Mind’ es básicamente una aventura gráfica, con toques de acción y una trama de terror. Se trata de un cuento donde encarnaremos a un **** que trata de ayudar a sus pacientes, sin darse cuenta de que él tambien tiene sus propios problemas y estos lo acaban doblegando hasta caer en una profunda depresión de la que, incluso con nuestra ayuda, no va a ser fácil salir. ‘In sound mind’ nos llevará a atravesar varios niveles para combatir las enfermedades de sus pacientes, encarnadas en terribles jefes y tétricos escenarios donde iremos recogiendo pistas que nos desvelen la historia de cada uno de ellos, resolviendo intrincados y bien diseñados puzzles que nos permitan avanzar y combatiendo contra las sombras que pueblan esos desolados escenarios de pesadilla. Todo para llegar a entender cual es la verdadera razón de que nos hayemos sumidos en ese extraño mundo en el que nos hemos despertado sin saber muy bien porqué. Al final, la trama nos explicará todo de forma muy bien hilvanada. No tiene nada que envidiar, narrativamente hablando, a cualquier película o serie de las de hoy en día.Recomendado, una historia absorvente y pese a que gráficamente el juego no pasa de resultón, su diseño lo complementa con creces. Buena acción, buenos jefes, exploración satisfactoria por escenarios oscuros y llenos de puzzles muy bien pensados. Una pena que este juego no haya sido un poco mñas reconocido.

It's a psychological horror survival puzzle game.With beautiful atmosphere and a good plot. If you're into that you should play it. If you like racing games instead, then you should go somewhere else.

I can see many successful tries on scaring players solely by the atmosphere. However, the story could be more polished and the enemies are dull. It is more like a puzzle game but the process is getting a little tedious at the end. Though it is a good game overall.

This game had really good atmosphere and visuals. Story was good and interesting. I liked the concept that mannequins helped instead of killing.

I love this game. Probably one of the best stories I've played through. The atmosphere is one of the greatest things in this game. I hope that they continue the story.

Voice cast 10/10 Music 8/10 One of my favourite horror games. While yes, you can get stuck from time to time with puzzles, it always feels intuitive when you finally solve them. Would very much recommend

This is a good game. The graphics are good. I like the gameplay. Some elements are very unique in this game. Just little bit long, and you will be bored 2nd half of it.

In general, this game is pretty cool, but have a freaking ton of invisible walls that will screw you if you are looking for all collectibles.

A love letter to a single-player FPS campaign that seems to be gone. Everything from the level design, The smart story that slowly unfolds, The haunted feeling, and the fast heartbeat before opening the next door to a new era, Not sure what to expect. Bonus points: amazing soundtrack - Maybe the best Ive ever heard in an FPS game.

In Sound Mind is an incredible game. It feels inspired by games such as Silent Hill, and focuses on a therapist going through nightmares from his patients. The gameplay is really good, the puzzle solving required me to think, and the music is great. I'm getting close to beating this game, but if you want an indie horror game, than please give In Sound Mind a shot, I'm sure you will love it

I beat it when it came out, I think its an 8. Good atmosphere, soundtrack and storyline, kinda weird tbh but in a good way. Its a psycological horror but it has some semiopen world, puzzles and bossfights elements.

Mega Game......8/10 only about the technical problems. Otherwise, first-class atmosphere, awesome soundtrack and ambience. Constantly increasing difficulty level, with pleasant puzzles. Deep story with small surprises......

It's that kind of adventure game where you'll get stuck at some point 100% because it's tough on the puzzle side, but it definitely has something. Special mention to the level design, wich is top, gameplay-wise. Kept me hooked until the end.

This is the first review I have written on any game. and I felt compelled to. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I picked it up day of launch and couldn't put it down until I completed it, Story was well thought out and very engaging. While the visuals are stylistic and detailed. Game play was simple yet easy to access. Honestly, if you like light hearted horror games. Its a must play, No gore or over the top actions set pieces, Just simple atmosphere and a few mind bending ideas.

I was impresionisted by this game so much that i want to now do a speedrun and a part 2 to this game, i watched very youtubers and twitch streamers to this game.

I was blown away by how much I enjoyed this indie gem. It's light on the horror and heavy on puzzles, which can get a little tricky but are pretty solvable for the most part.
