A little surprisingly, Ubisoft released the third DLC of Immortals Fenyx Rising: the Lost Gods. A variation on the theme that was needed, but with some little mistake.
The Lost Gods is the best expansion released by Ubisoft for Immortals: Fenyx Rising. It features the same type of dad joke humor prevalent in the main game and A New God while utilizing the open-world and the addition of new characters and locations that set the Myths of Eastern Realm apart from the rest of the game. There are certain problems and shortcomings, but altogether the DLC provides a lot of fun.
Immortals Fenyx Rising: The Lost Gods is a great piece of DLC because it’s entirely unexpected. Who would have thought an open world game of this nature could be distilled into an isometric platformer with great combat? As far as experiments go, this is one of Ubisoft’s stranger ones. And I really hope its a sign of things to come. Personally, I probably won’t ever reach a point of fatigue with open world games. They are easy to get lost in or put down for a long period of time and come right back to. The Lost Gods isn’t short by any means but it’s also unique enough that it may act as proof that new genres and new IPs can amount to something special for the publisher. I truly believe Fenyx will be back in all her godly might.

I don't even know where to begin with this one, why? Just why? The base game, and the 2 DLCs after, were third person, why make the third DLC a top-down brawler? Just who thought that was a good idea? After playing through the whole game, this DLC feels bad, some of the mechanichs are just worse, like the bow, it's completly butchered compared with the entire game, and some of the puzzled just show that they were not made for this type of camera, mainly the ones that need a bow (anyone surprised?), I think this should've been a spin-off or just let us change the camera angle. It's sad, because to me, the rest of the game is easily an 8 or a 9, and the idea of the camera in this DLC is cool, since it's like you're watching from Fenyx's point of view, watching down on Ash, but it just doesn't work, since you're changin the gameplay and style of the game entirelly, appealing to different audiences, which will alienate both existing players that might not like the new camera, and people that could like this camera, might not like the normal one, that has the rest of the game.

You can save the game only at altars. If you die you will lose all your progress. This is very annoying. You could save anywhere in the main game. They just removed this feature. You have to spend a lot of time collecting powers which you already had in the main game. Camera angle is locked. Worst idea ever. You can't look where the recourses and puzzles are, or how tall this mountain is. This is very irritating, especially after the main game. Monsters spawn every day. I feel that killing them is pointless. You don't have health potions for no reason. Devs didn't add anything cool to the game. They just tried to break everything. The game stutters on PC in this DLC as well in the main game. All because of Denuvo. Ubisoft refuses to admit the problem and constantly gaslighting its costumers. They already have a lot of videos showing this problem, but this will never be fixed.

Going into this I thought I was going to hate it but turns out I fkin loved it. Solid 20 hours of fun to be had with this DLC. The map addition is large and gorgeous. The top down view is also something I thought I was not going to like. After giving it a chance I began to enjoy it, combat is lots of fun HACK and SLASHY like im playing diablo or POE but its fenyx. New abilities and skill progression is cool, with lots of new unique puzzles and quests. This was a fantastic expansion and well worth my time.

With a new top-down view, solid world design, and much better pacing, Immortals Fenyx Rising - The Lost Gods is, without a doubt, the best expansion released for the open-world game by Ubisoft. While the experience it's not fundamentally different from that introduced in the main game, the tweaks to exploration and combat make the new journey enjoyable, especially if one hasn't had enough of Fenyx's universe.

The Lost Gods prove that Immortals Fenyx Rising can work in more than one way, this time with a new camera angle. The story of this DLC does not take many risks, but it turns out to be an entertaining story that fans of the new Ubisoft franchise can enjoy.

The Lost Gods is the third and final DLC for Immortals Fenyx Rising. While it introduces new perspectives and mechanics, it doesn't exactly come together into a cohesive whole. It's commendable what The New Gods is going for, but this isn't something most people will be interested in unless they're very interested in seeing the story of Immortals Fenyx Rising through to the end.

Worth Playing
Crafting a dungeon-crawler in the world of Immortals Fenyx Rising is a great idea, but the dev team behind The Lost Gods DLC didn't meet that goal. They nailed the look but completely missed on the gameplay. As a result, The Lost Gods feels like a mishmash of ideas without mastering any of them.

The new progression system and camera are interesting features but it works poorly with Immortals' main mechanics, so DLC is disbalanced, especially after silver enemies appear in the world. Also climbing mechanics are not working well with a new top-down camera because you never know how big the mountain is. But when I lowered the difficulty to easy for faster progression for a while, the game became really enjoyable. The combat system just blossomed and gave even more fun than the main game. So when you will play this DLC do not be afraid to change the difficulty :)

Pros: it's Immortals Fenyx Rising Cons: every change those idiots made is for the worst. Isometric camera does not allow looking up. Good luck with blind climbing. You'll find the ledge, eventually. No more stun bars so your weapons now boil down to slightly faster and slightly slower. Remember when only saving your game manually was a thing? Me neither. Wanna know why it never cought up? Because it's a stupid idea. Yeah, no more autosaves. You have to save manually at an altar and you have to pay a fig to do that. At least you'll find many on the way but if by some bad luck you run out, you'll have to search for one before you can save your game. Idiots are running the show in this DLC. Some things are locked with zero explanation. In one case it turns out that there's a punchline made during the unlocking so the thing was locked until the required events took place. Zero information on why I can't unlock it, the button was simply greyed out. Enemy level spired up way too soon in my opinion. There was no path to take so that I'm not flooded with golden bar enemies, yet my skillset was barely enough to take them. When you die, you go back to the last save you made. Combat is often extremely annoying. In many battles, camera is an enemy more difficult than most bosses. The funnies thing is that this DLC would be a 10/10 by one simple change: remove all the changes you did, make Fenyx the main character, done. Just give us more of the same or if you're feeling brave and want to change things: don't hire people stupid enough to think those mechanics are any good.
