I am extremely disappointed with IO Interactive's decision to drop the French voice-over. Previous Hitman games always offered an excellent French dubbing that greatly contributed to the immersion. Removing this feature in the modern games is a huge step backward. I refuse to play a narrative-driven game without proper localization in my native language. Until French voice acting is brought back to IO's games, they will not get a single cent of my money.

You can decide for yourself whether you want to complete the missions aggressively or defensively. There are several different solutions, but in general it takes a lot of time and patience to complete the missions. I’m almost inclined to say that the levels are too large, because it really takes a lot of time to investigate the different areas and find the things you need.

As of Sept 2025 -- It's got a ton of content and great classic Hitman gameplay. The problem is frequent crashes. It throws me off my groove, especially when you've set up the perfect assassination over the course of 20+ minutes. If they fix it, it's easily an 8... maybe a 9 due to the amount of content.

Progression is not saved while offline... Effectively, this game cannot be played handheld while mobile.

The World of Assasination is an Amazing package and perfect for the Switch 2. Unfortunatly, the performance is OK but it could be way better if they put in more effort. In some rare instances the framerate goes up to 60 fps but only in some really isolated, closed rooms. IO could have easily made thos game run at more constant 60 fps. What makes this port unacaptable are the horrible DLSS and some very irregular game crashes. In about 20 hours, i had like 3 crashes, which is no good look for a launch title on a shiny new Nintendo Console. The DLSS looks horrible. It just smers the image and turns the text things on things like signes into a mess. All in all, the port is just dissapointing. I hope IO will fix some of the issues via updates but this is not a condition you should launch a game in. Its also just annoying that this game is digital only making me spend 60 GB of Storage in it. This is an insane amount considering that the micro SD Express cards are super expansive at this point

Let’s get one thing clear: this is not a physical game. The box might say Signature Edition, but what you get is a glorified download code on a Game Key Card nothing more. Even worse? The download size is well over 60GB. On a Nintendo Switch, that means waiting at least 6 hours before you can even start playing (if you have enough storage space. And don’t count on re-downloading it easily in the future if Nintendo or the publisher ever pull the plug). This is not just disappointing. It’s unforgivable.Other developers, like CD Projekt Red with Cyberpunk 2077, proved it’s possible to fit large, modern games on physical media, even with a complete next-gen overhaul. Warner Bros. and IO Interactive clearly chose not to. The result? A fake “physical” release that fails both collectors and consumers. No cartridge. No preservation. No respect. Final verdict: 0/10. This game shouldn’t even be on store shelves in this form.

A ‘portable’ with mandatory online features. Poorly optimized version that’s unable to run at a stable frame rate.
