Heroes of Might and Magic IV: The Gathering Storm
A fine piece of work, but a little hastily put together...Due to the lack of a random map generator and due to the limited replay value of the maps, the most you can get from the expansion is a week of playing.
A pretty lightweight expansion pack, and what it does include isn’t especially interesting or memorable.
A disappointing expansion for Heroes IV. The few new items available could've easily been available for free, while the biggest change to the game - multiplayer -- is already free.

For a campaign it's a ok DLC, but very average. Major flaw is that they add only a few new units without new castles... What ?

Heroes of the Storm is not your typical MOBA, and that's a good thing. The team play here is key, the support are not forced the ADC's **** and the length of each game is way shorter and ALWAYS winnable even if you fall far behind the enemy team.

The game disappoints with a lack of new heroes and new units. I still give this one a recommendation to fans of turn-based fantasy strategy games.

A rather uninspired add-on to a rather uninspired sequel, which could only really garner an uninspired review.

There's little new in terms of original content... [Feb 2003, p.83]

It's a lot more of the same - the same grinding disenchantment. [Feb 2003, p.80]
