Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly - Director's Cut
Intelligent, macabre, scary, superbly directed and perfectly pitched for casual players and more hardcore gamers alike, this game does for survival horror what the influx of Japanese and Korean movies has done for horror cinema in recent years.

Worth Playing
If you can get over the admittedly wonky premise, you'll find an intense, involving horror experience.

Fatal Frame oozes with tension and terror. Mystery lies inside the village, and the atmosphere throughout the game is held together by the graphics and sound.

TeamXbox
A great pickup for anyone who enjoys the horror/survival genre but is finding the majority of the recent releases too repetitive. Tecmo offers fans a creative twist that they insist doesn't even belong in the genre all together.

Times Online
It's horror done "Ring"-style, low on explicit gore, but with plenty of chills and jumps, and the misty half-light of the action is beautifully complemented by one of the most unnerving soundtracks you'll hear.

A game that should be played with all the lights out, on your own, with the sound turned up loud. It really is a scary, atmospheric game and a definite "Silent Hill" beater.

The intriguing storyline, scary setting and unique battle system make for a frightening and memorable experience.

My biggest problem is how the camera obscura works in this game I like it better number one way just have to pointer camper and wait for it to full the gate where it this one you have to for the correct moment to take a picture to make any kind of real damage. the original took about 3 hours to complete and it was intens all the way through ,fatal Frame 2 took me 6 hours and I used part 3hr of them just walking around and looking for the way too get to The next three section at looking for every nook and cranny to find the way to programs, if it wasn't for podcasting YouTube videos I would have been so bored while playing this is, I would still recommended but it is my least favorite fatal Frame game

this game is honestly one of the scariest games I've played, at least for the first two hours, because then you start to get a bit used to, but still continues to be scary. the horror of the game is probably the greatest aspect, because the gameplay doesn't have anything special to it, infact its awkward to move around at most times, but if your a horror junkie, this is a must play. When I first started this game, I could only play for like 15 min at a time (mind you, I was playing late at night) because I was so uncomfortable and nervous. great for scares, but not exactly a fun game
