Providing players the broadest DLC quest line yet, new weapons, new enemies, and ten more levels to gain, Broken Steel is worth every penny you'll pay to download it, and is recommend for both newcomers to Fallout 3 and veterans alike. Broken Steel's additions to the game will continue to be felt and enjoyed long after the 4-5 hour storyline is complete. Wastelanders, get out there and crush the Enclave!

Basically if you have missed the wastelands, Broken Steel gives you more than enough reasons to return. Keeping with the high quality set by the original, Broken Steel gives you more engrossing content for up to five hours of gameplay, whilst increasing the story behind the game whilst removing the full stop.

One of the best games to the series and an All-time Classic. Also, the last Decent Fallout Game!

Honestly this just cranked the whole experience to 11 with all the unique weapons, new level cap and very high level enemies and they even continued from the main story, and you could actually full on destroy the bos and make their hq a steaming crater, 10/10 in my book definitely

Fallout 3 gets new content and Broken Steel set a new quality level on the downloadable content for this game. Expanding the level cap up to 30 and adding a nice set of new items, enemies and weapons is only one of the features of this expansion. Also, it really makes you feel the way the original did and let you play with your characters forever so it's worth buying if you expend a lot of time developing your avatar.

This is certainly what we want to see from Bethesda and our hopes are soaring with regard to what the newly announced installments could contain. [July 2009, p.131]

Despite not being as creative or purpose driven as previous offerings, Broken Steel is a must buy. Its natural transition from Fallout 3's original conclusion and its open-ended nature are just what fans wanted.

A solid set of new missions. The real benefits come with being able to fix the ending and explore more of the world afterwards.

Despite the raising of the level cap, we find it difficult to recommend Broken Steel – its shockingly unimaginative lean towards near constant shooting is remarkably unlike what we’ve come to know and love about the game.

It's amazing. It's long (took me about 6 hours) but it's only DLC keep that in mind. there's lots of new weapons, interesting stories, and you end the game on a better note. Pretty great DLC, try it.

In my opinion, this is the best fallout add on there is. It is definitely a must get for fallout fans, because it continues the game, instead of the game ending. Also with the new quests, this is an add on that is definitely worth the microsoft points.

If you can only buy one Fallout 3 DLC it's either this one or The Pitt, this outstanding piece of DLC adds a new quest taking place after the main one, extends the level cap to 30, adds new side quests, random encounters, new achievements, new weapons, free rome after you beat it, and hours of new gameplay, my only complaint is that the story backing it isn't all that great, but is still a must download.

After a long break from Fallout 3 i'm now going to play the last two of the DLC'S. So far this is the best DLC. Broken Steel countinues with the story of Fallout 3 and finish the fight with the Enclave. You don't really get many stuff in this DLC but 3/4 in to it you ass-kicking Tesla Cannon. You also your cap raised from 20 to 30. Now just one more Dlc to go and then i'm done. Fallout 3: Broken Steel 8.0/10

Essentially fixed the game. Added some interesting quests as well, but it's largest contribution was that it let the player continue playing the game. Besides this, the changes to the Wasteland are relatively interesting and the final destruction of the Enclave is a FAR more satisfying conclusion to the main questline than the original end to Fallout 3.
