An excellent though rather bland-looking 'copter combat sim. [Sept 2007, p.56]

Not a bad game, but cannot beat the original EECH combined with latest free community mods. I hoped for more changes to flight and systems modelling and AI, but instead we got some trees and invisible objects to crash into. [Aug 2007]

A once-great helicopter combat sim is still pretty good, if you don't mind the déjà vu.

Enemy Engaged 2 has potenttial, but remains a patch or two away from completion. [Nov 2007, p.77]

Enemy Engaged 2 has some serious problems but they do not make the game unplayable, just detract from your enjoyment. The graphics and visual effects of a bleak terrain do not help the game out but the great open style of mission setup add greatly to the look and feel of a real battlefield.

The critical flaw made by the developers however was in not paying close enough attention to their community, and realizing that in order to create a worthwhile sequel, they’d have to do more than just update the graphics and add a couple of features, which ultimately means that there’s little point to picking up Enemy Engaged 2 unless you’re new to the series.

This is not the most convincing military sim ever, but it's a good approximation of grinding boredom followed by sudden death - and a virtually unplayable game. [Aug 2007, p.86]

Falls far below expectations.

Just prepare to be very forgiving of the show stopping bugs and flaws that the game contains.

That [50] down there is starting to look a bit mean isn't it? It would be if EE2 wasn't buggier than a shrew's breakfast and outgunned by a better, cheaper, alternative.
