Putting aside its insane and unyielding difficulty, Drake & Josh is a very enjoyable and well put together title. Its presentation does its TV counterpart justice, and its stealth/action/puzzle gameplay offers a much-needed changeup from what we're used to seeing from Nickelodeon-licensed software.

Your daughter might be sufficiently occupied by it if she's too lost in her own fantasies of making out with Drake to realize that the game has nothing to do with the show.

I used to say that a perfect game does not exist. I was wrong. This game is awesome and I have no words to explain how amazing I felt playing this.

The culinary masterpiece that is Drake and Josh for the Game Boy Advance truly encapsulates the technology at time while including the subtle callbacks from the TV show. In this game you play as Josh who's voiced by Eddie Murphy as he tries to consume all of the Drake Cakes (cakes with Drakes face on them; also voiced by Eddie Murphy) hidden throughout the challenging levels. The game, however, takes a sharp turn when you swallow all of the Drake Cakes and find out that you have actually eaten Drake. The epic journey continues as you play as Drake trying to escape Bowser's insides. This turn-action RPG truly feels like Nintendo did their research on the original Super Mario Brothers TV show and this game is a must play for old men of any age.

Drake and Josh is like a good anime. It gives you your main plot line (that being the show itself), and the creators are nice enough to give you a couple of OVAs. This is one of those long forgotten yet still beautifully created OVAs. Not once did I leave the edge of my seat going through each wonderfully crafted level, reading dialogue after dialogue of Drake's hilariously perfect antics. This is not just a game. It's a masterpiece. Props to you THQ for creating one of my favorite games of all time.

SummaryMisfit brothers, Drake & Josh have enough trouble with school, girls and their crafty, mischievous little sister who is always playing pranks on them. But with Drake's new gig coming up, Josh's new promotion and some surprise visitors, trouble will have a whole new meaning.
