While it’s true that players who can pick up a PlayStation edition of V3 may be best off doing so to avoid the hiccups of the Switch (and PC) port, it’s also true that V3 is a phenomenal experience that shouldn’t be missed regardless of the system it’s played on. By bringing what Danganronpa does best to its natural apex, Danganronpa V3 allows fans to experience the systems and themes of the series in their purest form, with all the fluff and frills set aside as meaningful bonus content. The result is a magical cast, gripping story, mind-bending ideas, and outstanding gameplay and mystery-solving that leaves an unforgettable impression—and that’s no lie.

It's difficult to get across exactly why Danganronpa V3 is so good without spoiling vast swathes of it, so we'll keep it simple. You'll come into the game baffled as to what the writers were thinking with some of these characters, and walk away loving each and every one of them. There isn't a single moment of slack throughout the whole 40-hour playtime, it has the most extensive post-game of any title in the series, and one of the best endings to any game ever made. Go in blind and we promise you'll be in for the ride of your life.

I understand the flaws with this game and why its so controversial, but that doesn't stop it being my favourite in the franchise (I think...), all the trials felt fresh and inspired and I loved the location it was set in. All the characters felt like they had a reason to be there and I was constantly on my toes for new twists, people hate the Monokubs but I just thought they were passable. The main character is a unique case as I love their character but they felt more like a stand alone character rather than a player character [which kinda makes sense :)] The ending of this game shook me to my core and I believe the open endedness adds to the factor of blurred lines that V3 explains (eg. lying and finding yourself) It did a good job of sticking in my mind and making me think about it, I get why people werent satisfied but I can look past it. My only real complaint is which the ending where they explain how 'certain events' happened due to two characters relationships... I don't think its true and the ending doesn't reveal it either... overall great game

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is the best Danganronpa experience yet. With it's wild and vastly improved story, mechanics, brutal executions and trials, I'm sure any fan of the series will love it. The ending might be controversial, but I found myself enjoying it more than i expected. Yes, the game may have a few performance hiccups, but that didn't stop my enjoyment of the game. 10/10, would dangan again.

Pros: -Visuals are much better than the first two games -Even more content than before, taking me about 50 hours to beat, not including bonus content -Great voice acting - Amazing writing, with likeable characters and tons of plot twists -The trials flow better and don't have as much filler, despite being so long -The fact that there's bonus content at all, let alone good bonus content -Lots of fresh and subversive ideas -The ending blows the other ones out of the water Cons: -The trials are even longer than before, even if they are improved -The game may feel fresh, but it still follows a very similar formula to the first two -Sometimes the cursor just chooses not to listen -Not the game's fault, but it's nearly impossible to avoid spoilers
