Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE

Master Detective Archives: Rain Code feels like a spiritual successor to the Danganronpa series. The gameplay, minigames, formula, artstyle and even storytelling and music all feels similar to it, yet it manages to give itself it's own identity. The cases felt a little simpler than Danganronpa, but there was no dud cases unlike that series. I really hope that this turns into a series. I still haven't played the DLC chapters, but I'm sure those are great too. 9/10, would Rain Code again.

This might genuinely be one of my favorite games of all time. I didn't know that i needed a **** Lite-anronpa out of the Sonic IP. The story was quirky, the art was cute, the gameplay was simple but fun. I can't really tell much else cus damn this was a wild ride. 100% recommend. AND it's only 2-3 hours long! 10/10 would murder Sonic again.

I love how this game boils down to just a few things: - Run around without reason - Go "Oooh what's that?" - Go there - Do the thing - Repeat until you're somehow at the end of the island smacking titan ass after 4-5 hours of getting distracted by small platforming challenges, puzzles and treasure spots. Yeah this game ain't for everyone but it's at least worth a try.

The story was really engaging and it kept my interest throghout, which only a few games have accomplished The gameplay was surprisingly fun, especially the class trials and their short minigames There were a few small gameplay issues, like the occational framedrops when walking around, going into certain locations and such The music was some of the best i have heard in a video game Yes even rivaling Sonic music which you all know i'm very passionate about So yeah, overall a good 9/10 Would dangan again

It's both better and worse than Trigger Happy Havoc at the same time. The plot twists are better, but the motives aren't as good. Trials have a better challenge to them but Chapter 4's was a bit **** with the Octagon stuff, but otherwise they were better over all. Chapter 3 didn't make sense in the slightest but that's basically to be expected from a rushed script. The new Trial mechanics were cool. The "Improved" Hangman's Gambit wasn't much of an improvement, though it was fun. Logic Dive is one of the best minigames in the series, forcing you to react fast while thinking the case through. Rebuttal Showdowns were a nice change of pace too. Overall a better game than THH, but some plot-points could've been thought through better. 9/10 Would recommend if you played the first one. Would Dangan again.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is the best Danganronpa experience yet. With it's wild and vastly improved story, mechanics, brutal executions and trials, I'm sure any fan of the series will love it. The ending might be controversial, but I found myself enjoying it more than i expected. Yes, the game may have a few performance hiccups, but that didn't stop my enjoyment of the game. 10/10, would dangan again.

Sky: Children of the light feels like a weird attempt to mix the beautiful graphics of journey, the music style of the Ori games, the feeling of exploration in Breath of The Wild and the charm of the Tearaway games, and nothing clicks. All you do in the game is: Walk a bit. Light candles. Walk some more. Find spirits. Sit down. The game advertises itself as a "social experience", but there is no clear way to communicate or interact with other people. Players are represented as these Gray creatures that walk and jump around and their movement is jerkier than beef jerky. And i'd rather pay for beef jerky than play this game again. There was this one "interaction" i had with someone, where they were running into me, begging i light their candle. (Or this is what i assume) There should be a better way to communicate with people, even if there is a language barrier. The friend system makes no sense because why would you want to go up to someone, ask to be their friend and then not do anything. In conclusion: Sky: Children of The Light is a mis-mash of good ideas that don't work, lacks communication and has no clear goals. The fact that you have un-skippable cutscenes is a sin and does not make sense. 3/10, wouldn't recommend to people who hate flat art-styles, barebones gameplay and mechanics, lack of communication features and lore that makes no sense.
