CSR Racing is more than worth a look if you're looking for a racing game that doesn't require you to set aside five minutes to get the most out of it.

CSR Racing isn't the best driving game on the App Store, but it's still one players should check out, especially if they're huge car fanatics. Now all we need is head-to-head online/offline multiplayer, and we'll be set.

This game is one of the all time great mobile games in my opinion and a true benchmark that has been set for others. It is shocking how well this game holds up 10+ years later with fantastic graphics for the time and even today (this game looks better than CSR2 in my opinion). The user interface is genuine perfection with every menu being easily accessible and usable. The music is, once again, spot on too. I understand that the gameplay can be slightly repetitive due to the drag-race nature of the game where all a car has to do is drive in a straight line anyways but the real fun of the game is found in the campaign with the brilliantly designed tier system where you beat crew members before beating the crew leader to eventually reach the next tier. Upgrading and working your way through each tier with your personalised car is addictive to me. The only true downside to the game is the 'gas' system but many other reviewers here seem to forget why this mechanic is absolutely essential to the game at the time. In 2012 there were pretty much 3 ways for games to make money : charge for the game up-front, run adverts in-game or have in-game purchases. Charging for the game up-front results in an unwanted barrier to entry and adverts are very annoying so therefore the emphasis on in-game purchases hardly annoys me considering how well the rest of the game works. THIS IS A FREE GAME and it's virtually flawless up until this day. If you decide to avoid all in-game purchases (which are by no means essential at ANY point of the game) that, in my opinion, actually makes the grind more rewarding as there is a whole host of content to work through with the world tour and international elements of the game post-tier 5. Truly one of the best. I wish games were made with this passion and simplicity these days. If you're a true car enthusiast who wants a simple yet rewarding game with boat-loads of content and a low skill gap : this is the one.

This is a nice game which i think first one in DRAG racing game in the mobile phones. It also used to have a Mac version.. But sadly the game dead the devs stoped support it.

It's more of a tuning game, considering how shallow, brief and repetitive are the racing sections and the emphasis on upgrading your cars. Unfortunately, you will need lots of real money to do so.

It all feels so cynical. Sure, there's no requirement to buy any in-app purchases but there's always that sense that you're missing out on something if you don't. For the stubborn, being pushed to buy help so regularly will no doubt infuriate all the more.

CSR Racing can be very entertaining and looks great, but be warned...you'll forever be bugged, bugged, bugged, bugged by the game telling you to spend more and more or your actual money.

This is a great FREE app. It has great graphics and audio. It is very addictive and fun. When I first started playing it I thought it would be lame because all you had to do was press the shift button to win the race.Pretty easy and not as challenging. This game does not really force you to spend real cash to win races which is another good factor. Recommendyou download it.

i remember playing this game on facebook, it was fun for a drag car game and maybe the best one in general,the graphics were good but the game was not replayable on the long run.

It's a bit boring, I'm gonna be real. I recently redownloaded it just for the nostalgia, but I remembered the only thing you really do is watch your car drive and tap when it tells you to. Not like NFS: No Limits and the Asphalt series. If you're looking for a fun racing game, play those. This is more for old time's sake. That's really the best I can describe it.

Worst game ever. It is a misery that you have to "pay" for almost everything. I won't even mention that "you need gas to race" **** And it's absurd as hell! I've perfectly started the race, perfectly shifted but still lost though the "race" was rated "easy". Not realistic, not sustainable. Graphics are good though. But it's not a animation movie, right? It's a racing game. In summary: Disappointing, and not worth the time.
