For its time, it was a pretty great shooter. The story is definitely second-rate, but it has its own charm and vibe. It's absolutely worth trying if you want to dive into a classic and see what made it memorable.

The pacing is sharp, the performances feel authentic, and the atmosphere is consistently engaging. While a few moments lean slightly predictable, the overall execution more than compensates. It’s a compelling piece that balances intensity with depth, leaving a lasting impression long after it ends.

Is like a combination of Halo and Doom and then mixed in a TRASH studio and then published.

Crysis is special, especially for we turkish gamers, because it was nearly one of the first important game that gave us fully turkish support(thanks to it's creators). There's a reason why this game was the first "does it run xxx?" because it was using all the power your pc had and giving you the peak visual quality ever. The gameplay and suit features were perfect too.

Très bon jeu même aujourd'hui malgré un scénario plutôt évident et propagandiste américain. Le moteur CryEngine à largement fait ses preuves depuis 2007. On apprécie certains choix comme la constructibilité des décors et la panoplie d'arme et de compétences de l'armure. La fin est un peu convenu. Disons que balancer une nuke sur une espèce alien qui s'alimente d'énergie ressemble à bien d'autres œuvres de SciFi.

Crysis, a game that still looks better than many modern titles, offers an open-world-like experience where the player is mostly left to explore and act freely.Unlike most other FPS games, Crysis gives you a special suit with various abilities that shape how you play the game. However, in my opinion, these abilities are not well balanced. You can easily complete the game by relying on just one — mostly stealth. You can literally finish the game by staying in bushes and using the cloaking ability. Although strength mode is needed in a few spots, it's rarely essential. This feels like poor design to **** enemy AI breaks down in some areas. The power balance is inconsistent — the same enemy can feel incredibly strong at times, and ridiculously weak at others. Weapon designs are nice, but the shooting feedback is almost non-existent. Sometimes, bullets don’t even register on enemies, which is **** story manages to spark curiosity, keeping the player engaged. The Turkish voice acting is a pleasant bonus and adds flavor to the experience. However, the missions start to repeat after a while, which can become tiresome. Mission design is average, though the variety in objectives is actually pretty good.Occasionally, you run into strange bugs. But when it comes to graphics — there's no need to explain. They're absolutely stunning, even by today's standards. On the downside, the characters lack depth and memorability. I've already forgotten half their names. The ending feels like a traditional boss fight **** the end, despite its flaws, Crysis succeeded in making me feel nostalgic and happy. It captured the atmosphere of its era in a very special way.

Ну в 2022 году играл, конечно игра устарело страшно, тупой шутан вообще без сюжета, просто ходишь, стреляешь, делать нехуй, ещё уровни на корабле пришельцев вообще пиздец, сам думай что делать, куда идти, вообще ничего не понятно, темно пиздец.

Even after all this timeI still had fun playing this game, despite it being quite dated

the classic benchmark for pcs. this game was the perfect test of how good your hardware is. breathtaking graphics even to this day. enemies blend into the environment so you will be shooting the ground 90 percent of the time. so many chickens that tank the fps. and of course, you cant forget to add aliens. metal wearing aliens that is.

Este fue muy impresionante en el momento de su salida, sus visuales estaban por encima de todo en su momento, juego divertido aunque algunas veces es molesto.

This game was so ahead of its time in many ways. Most people see it as a sandbox shooter but I liked the story too. Its not only the graphics but the gameplay, physics and the sound which made it a masterpiece.

Crysis это один из самых моих любимых игр. Онанапоминает мне чем то Far cry но интереснее и лучше. С тех пор когда она считалось продвинутой игрой я запустил его на моем слабом пк поставил настройки низкие и у меня все работало очень отлично. Всем советую

Je ne sais pas si c'est moi qui joue à ce jeu trop **** ou s'il a toujours été comme ça, mais il n'est absolument pas original et permissif dans son approche. Des ennemis qui ont une IA soit divine qui nous spot à des kilomètres, soit conne comme un balai...Scénario déjà vu, décors répétitifs, heureusement que c'est une claque graphique car sinon c'est un jeu bateau souhait...

The game was ahead of its time. The graphics are amazing, look decent even for today's standards. The story is simple and easy to understand and follow. The gameplay is fun and engaging. Even tho its an open-world-ish style, there are many types of approaches you can take on every mission and you won't be bored. 9/10 because most things are good except the length. Base story is pretty short in my opinion.

Uh, yeah, open world was neat at the time. Unfortunately the gameplay is about as tilted to unfair as Far Cry 2 - lots of enemies have you in their sites despite your magic power suit. I'm not sure how far I am but there's a helicopter machine gunning me to death when I'm trying to stealth and a ton of enemies rendering me bullet ridden if I try to cross by land. The open world graphics are neat, although the provided maps and narrated direction are awesomely worthless. At one point your told to stealth enter a cliff located station only accessible by rope bridge. After that, you're told to take a road to the next waypoint, which I found a much more direct line via river. Kinda ****.

It was a game that captivated everyone with its graphics when it came out. For me, it has become a game that is no longer worth remembering. I don't remember playing it for long hours and I didn't find it as fun as the second game. Even though the first game offers more freedom on more open maps compared to the second game, the gameplay gets boring very quickly because the AI is very mediocre. It's not a bad game to play and I should probably play it again, but that's my thoughts for now...

Magnificent visuals again, innovative weapon customization and legs! One of the two most advanced engines ever made for a first-person. Clean PC controls, but lots of lame scripts again. Nice physics, but bad game desing at all. (hard difficulty; no grenades, no armor, no cloak) Gameplay: combat mechanics [bad TTK, bad hitboxes, bad ragdoll] 8/10 combat logic [AI often cheats; some stupid missions] 8/10 stealth [cheating vehicle-gunner's AI - do not count on the bushes] 7/10 atmosphere [very uneven] 7/10 Story 5/10 Graphics 10/10 Sounds & music 7/10 . The first fight versus nanosuit-enemies is a wonderful reference to HL1. But not the subsequent ones.

Crysis is a fantastic example of PC games that makes you want to build a 2007 gaming PC to play this phenomenon ****!

I honestly thought Crysis would be like Far Cry 3, meaning it would have some open world and let me go where I wanted and that I would be able to upgrade my character. Unfortunately, I didn't get it. The game is partially open so that you follow a given path, but scripted. Shooting wasn't scary, but it wasn't fun. The graphics didn't leave me speechless, either. I was a bit disappointed, luckily I didn't get tired for long.

Gorgeous still to today an eye candy ****. Story is nice too armour still feels badass to use final mission is still awesome you can buy this game today and just play without feeling its age.

what an ambitious game, definite must play for every action fps lover for sure

I don't get the popularity of this game. Its very buggy on modern computers though but it doesn't change a lot. Graphics is old now, you can feel it: you can see pixels in background images and how objects show up in front of you on max graphics. And I swear I hadn't saw any blood in this game, which is frustrating. The difficulty is too much considering the unfair AI that sees through plants and HUD effects when taking damage make battles a lot more irritating all together. "The skillpoints and upgrades would make the game better", I thought all the time because the unique supercostume doesn't make you that badass. You feel yourself just a simple soldier: your armor is regeneration, speed boost regenerates too slow, Its lazy to push strength boost just for the jump or hits. It would be better if all boosts were not connected to only one charge line cause its not fun. The atmosphere is just any battlefield company one half of the game and the next half is second half of the Borderlands 1. Alien enemy: robots jellyfishes, spiders and ghosts; ancient as dinasours, more developed in techonoly, but stupid and unfriendly as any animal or movies' aliens. Thats Crysis for me.

A game that was considered revolutionary for its time. Apart from the fantastic and unbelievably realistic graphics for the time it came out, it is a very decent fps. It has a semi open world setting, offers many ways to approach missions and lets you improvise. I also liked the way the story evolves and the overall pacing of the game. The aiming sometimes doesnt work properly, it has some bugs but without a doubt this game is a milestone for FPS and even today manages to impress with its amazing graphics.

and a game that is good at the beginning but between the middle and the end it gets pretty boring as you start to face only aliens and what I liked was the shooting of human beings

Crisis. Insanely beautiful! The game that made a lot of noise in its time, which now goes to almost any computer, and it looks amazing. After the equally beautiful Far Cry, Crytek has made the game even better. Of the small minuses, a very modest set of weapons can be noted, which sometimes made it boring, but it was diluted with the fact that you can conditionally storm any base in many ways. Also, a small minus is a slightly boring first half of the company where you almost constantly go from one base to another.

Una obra maestra. Esta saga me marco mucho de pequeño y a día de hoy tiene unos gráficos muy buenos al igual que sus físicas y la inteligencia artificial. Gracias Critek
