Ultimately Conan Exiles is a slow paced game with no quick pay offs. It provides a sense of wonder with its locations and the things that populate them. There is danger in the persistent online world which adds to the need to log on often to keep an eye on things. If you are not prepared to put the hours in, this is a title that is better left alone.

Conan Exiles is one of the most disappointing games I have played this generation. I have not experienced another game on PlayStation 4 as broken as Exiles. It is hard to believe that a game could be released for purchase in such bad condition. In another genre, the bugs in Exiles might be fun or amusing. In a survival game, they are crippling. Gamers deserve, and should demand, better.

Game is janky, very janky, finally too many in game issues became too much for me to continue to play this. First off it's a 190GB download which is huge. Second you get dropped in with no tutorial to an area where enemies and animals are WAY more powerful than you are. You'll die, a lot. The quest doesn't really teach you crafting or what to do in game. So resorted to watching Youtube to figure out what to do first. Found a secret cave where I read a book to learn basic sorcery and picked up some valuable resources. BUT now I'm cursed which takes away 1/3 of my health and stamina bar and no obvious way to remove that. Then the sandstorms blow in, and start killing me repeatedly. Trying desperately to build a shelter, but i'm constantly over-encumbered so can't move. So i drop some loot into my now completed shelter to go mine some rocks and wood, to build a storage box. I return to shelter less than 3 in game minutes later, and my loot bag has disappeared with all my valuables. That was the last straw on that game. Uninstalled. Combat is janky, tutorials are nonexistent and unless you're willing to go through a lot of trial and error to figure it out, good luck.

There are more glitches than Conan killed enemies and it’s uglier than Thulsa Doom naked. They game system itself and the universe is great, but if you don’t love Conan, you really get nothing here. Also you just have an ugly Schlong and can’t change it.

Un bon jeu, avec du contenu. Mais avec des défaut technique qui gâche le jeu. Ou des choses qui ont été mal pensées comme par exemple, la possibilité de voir les statistiques des armures avant de les fabriquer. On est obligé de les fabriquer pour savoir si il donne de la force ou de l'agilité par exemple. Il aurait fallu ajouter une option en appuyant sur une touche par exemple pour voir "sa carte d'identité"

Conan Exiles is one of the best survival games on the market, improved tremendously over the months spent in Early Access.

Despite its issues and flaunts, I couldn't keep myself away from Conan Exiles. Its meaty combat, huge map and nicely paced objectives made the game morish, even when I got lost (in the menus, not the jungles).

Have played for 3k hours+. Pros - active community and plenty of quests and activities to keep you busy. 100s of quality of life updates and the game game runs smoothly on ps4 pro and ps5. Plenty of server types to match play style. Cons - Limited crafting explanation, this can make the learning curve harder for some. Full PVP can be brutal, again less experienced players are put off by this. Overall this game is hard done by as it takes hours to figure it out, the pay off is worth it and the range of activities and build designs impressive. Stick with it as the rewards are many.

Sorry but this need bumping up. I don't know what the game was like when it first came out (I recently started), but it's free and it's a brilliant sandbox game,. I've played pretty much solo all the way through with a few mates when I can be bothered, so it has things there for everyone. Given it a whirl it's on Gamepass...

Do not expect an evident or strong storyline in the first number of hours, or to be spoon-fed how to play the game through tutorials or directions. Prepare to die in the beginning, a lot. And most of all, prepare to explore a beautiful and diverse landscape with limitless things to discover and create, and to have a lot of fun doing it.

In this game everything takes time. This is not a game that discounts and is not in the least meeting those who have never played a Survival. You will have to have a lot of patience, especially at the beginning. But all this changes in multiplayer.

Conan Exile's gameplay is a lot of fun whether you're playing by yourself or with other people. It's also extremely addictive which makes the game worth your time. It provides a decent challenge with a lot of different features and the developer promises to incrementally add new content which is great news. The game could benefit from some optimization since the game suffers from considerable frame drops and other technical glitches which negatively affect your enjoyment.

Half-broken and needlessly obscure, but if you have the patience this challenging survival game can be extremely satisfying – and it’ll be even better when it’s finished.

The game gives you the opportunity to play among a bunch of players and the game is not ugly to look at. This game gave me the experience of playing on a survival server with a bunch of strangers who could decided at any moment to cut me down for no reason.

Cons: trash fighting system, painful body recovery after death Pros: beautiful places, and music, exciting adventure and exploration feeling. Verdict: the game is really enjoyable for a while, the adventuring, building, surviving part truly works, but if you have a standard for skill involved fighting and need for challenges, then you are going to be sick with the fighting system eventually. Pros explained: the game has a nice atmosphere, exciting changing music, cool places to explore, and you can build our camp / bases almost anywhere, interesting crafting system (involves a fair bit of grinding materials though). Cons explained: for casual players it is probably gonna be fine, you go there with your big sword and armor, hit the bosses while they hitting you and you win eventually. YEAH! you ARE the man! But for those who ever played sg like Nioh or Dark Souls, the fighting system is going to be truly painful for sure. The skill level involved is pretty low, and the fights are mostly stat checks. The 'lock on' system is truly terrible. If you lock on someone, you basically loose all of your mobility, you start to move with really slow speed, and also you loose your lock if you start to dodge sideways too much. So you cant do sg like lock on a boss, circleling around them, with clever dodges, while slowly waring them down. Also hits are really inconsistent. Worst of all it is inconsistent if your hits land or not often even if you are literally in the face **** beast. I already talked about the **** lock on system but the other bad part is, that if you not lock the target, you miss your hits like 70%. All in all: the bosses and fights were designed in zerging online players or at least you and a strong thrall / pet who just tank all the hits, in mind, and sadly there is no room for compensate for the lack of thoose with skill and careful experimentation.
