City Crisis
A light touch on the analog stick will be rewarded with precise control...There’s no multiplayer mode, so the fun doesn’t last terribly long. Worth a weekend rental.
Considering the simplicity of City Crisis, there is no reason that it should end so abruptly.
While the game isn't especially amazing to look at or play, City Crisis scores points for originality.

Gamezilla!
A respectable action-packed arcade game that will provide hours of entertainment. It’s certainly not the answer that hardcore flight-sim fans might have been hoping for, but then again, it doesn’t pretend to be.

GameZone
When its all said and done, this game has a very arcade feel to it, and aside from unlocking new levels and helicopters, and getting the best grade on each mission, there really isn't a lot of depth. But that is not always a bad thing.

PSX Nation
A fun and unique title that stands out from the crowd of sequels and me-too clones. Coupled with good gameplay and fantastic control and it's the first big hit for Take 2 on the PS2.

Electronic Gaming Monthly
Short-lived but fun. [Sept 2001, p.145]

Core Magazine
City Crisis won't rekindle interest in the genre, but it will eat up a few days of your time.

Electric Playground
The fun of it, however, is pretty thin, and City Crisis is probably best as a one-night rental and no more.

Considering the simplicity of City Crisis, there is no reason that it should end so abruptly.

SummaryTake 2's search-and-rescue game, reminiscent of the classic Choplifter, thrusts you into the role of a helicopter pilot who must save the lives of helpless citizens from raging infernos and assist the police in apprehending dangerous fugitives on the run.
