Call Of Duty: United Offensive DLC Done Right This is everything a DLC should be, the same as the original but better and more. There are fewer missions in comparison to Call of Duty but the missions were longer and much better in my opinion. Familiar grounds Once again you get to play as an American, British and Russian soldier. This time the missions for the Americans, taking place in my country of origin Belgium, are the best. I really loved the Battle of The Bulge and ever since as a kid I was always interested in WWII, also visiting all the villages that endured the gruesome battle and they really nailed it. Definitely took inspiration from classic WWII movies which is nice because I adore these as well. The other way around The missions for the British were also super fun and in contrast to the first game, this time the soviet missions were the weakest but mainly because they were so hard when played on veteran. At least for me these were difficult. But it is the Soviet campaign however where they once again show how much they could accomplish in that day and era. The whole game could easily use a remake/remaster today. Road kill As I’ve said before, I played this on veteran difficulty again but this time it was much harder. You have more teammates but they literally do nothing apart from getting in your way, throwing grenades back at you or getting you a ‘mission failed’ screen because they ran into your crossfire. I also got flattened a couple of times by friendly tanks but that’s a thing that still happens in modern cods... come to think of it, that counts for the other things as well. You can however ask your friendlies to move away but most of the time they just stand there. MEDIC! Gameplay is pretty fun again and even though it is so hard, you can survive by taking your time and making your friendlies move up and take Agro. The checkpoints were very random but then I finally realised it probably had to do something with your remaining health, the game not saving when you had low health. Which is a good thing and I also prefer a health bar over regen health but then you should have access to health pickups or medics... Conclusion To summarize, i had an amazing time with this DLC and loved almost every second! Once again it saddens me how far they moved away from this core and cod is they way it is right now. However time can’t take away the good things and i would really recommend this to any WWII fan! Completion Time: 0902 Overall Time: 3 Days Personal Rating: 9/10 Backlog Progress: 4/801

I'm a huge fan of the Call of Duty series—each game impresses me with its advanced technology, creative gameplay design, and high production quality. It's clear that a lot of effort goes into making each title better and more immersive than the last.

Pretty good addition to the first entry in the series. I honestly enjoyed this more than a lot of other entries in this series.

first Sicilian mission for GB felt bit of lazy, then got better, American is good; Red Army got tanks from the Future during the Battle of Kursk (t34-85), which never the less infinitely better than myth about one rifle for two in regular troops in Stalingrad in original CoD. Generally good game.

Call of Duty: United Offensive — дополнение к Call of Duty в жанре шутер от первого лица на тему Второй мировой войны. Игра была разработана компанией Gray Matter Interactive и издана компанией Activision 14 сентября 2004 года. Дополнение основано на движке основной игры Id Tech 3. В игре присутствует 13 новых одиночных миссий: операция в Арденнах, вылазка в составе диверсионного подразделения на Сицилию, бой на привокзальной площади Харькова, авианалёт на Роттердам. Всё так же мы увидим войну не только глазами американского солдата, но также советского и британского.Начинается игра с того, чем закончилась прошлая? Ну, я помню, что мы закончили за американцев в заснеженных лесах, а тут начали с них. Миссия на машине выглядит эффектно, но я всегда боюсь в такие моменты сохраниться и запороть сейв, такие, как уровень стрельбы с машины, очень страшно было, ибо 2 выстрела — труп, а тут ты видишь, но, слава богу, прошел.Игра разделена на этот раз на 13 миссий, по 4 миссии на сторону + 1 миссия сверху за советов.По сложности дополнение как будто внедрило еще одну сложность выше тяжёлой, на которой опять же нет аптечек, так еще и убивают очень часто. (Раскроет себя сложность в последней миссии, я даже сначала думал, что игра непроходима.)Базис из Call of Duty.Потом начинается привычный шутер, но вот и отличия в том, что он командный и именно в составе отряда, очень свежо, я вот так и не припомню, где еще так было реализовано, даже + к реализму в том смысле, что не один человек вырезает орды, а в составе отряда). И что самое важное, играется-то нормально, и боты иногда без тебя идут вперед, штурмуют, и ты сам помогаешь по мере сил. И да, решил пройти на тяжёлой сложности, ну, немного пожалел, ибо аптечек как класса на сложности нет, иногда всё-таки тебя бросают одного, и 2 выстрела — ты труп. Очень много сохранений, так еще и парочку заруинил 2–3.По кампаниям всё стандартно, американские миссии не особо интересны, но был момент, когда тут надо было бегать, а бегать было нельзя в предпоследней части в игре про войну! Так вот, он тут появился, не очень помогает, но помогает.Если американская кампания встречала поездкой на машине, то британская, по классике, миссией на самолете, нормально для разнообразия. Миссии в Италии за британцев хороши в плане пейзажей. Даже на лодке дадут поплавать, сразу вспомнил почему-то Far Cry. И опять же стандартно, что за советов мне понравилось больше всегда, роднее, видимо. Опять же, за советов эпизод с танками, тем самым, принимая участие в операции Курской дуге, а если быть точнее, то в боях за Прохоровку! И самая моя любимая локация — 2 часть Харькова, финальный этап — это что-то с чем-то, надо убить немецкую технику со стационарного оружия (как один из вариантов, после я увидел, что на спавне раскиданы панцерфаусты), через каждую минуту прилетает штука, которая кроет всё бомбами, если её не сбить или не спрятаться под вагонами. Пацаны всё время спавнятся, как и техника, повезло, что техника каким-то образом сама еще выходила из строя (то ли подрывами, то ли в помощь), я так при прохождении миссии давно так не ругался. Прохождение с помощью сейвов — это суровая необходимость. В двух местах в этом дополнении за советов мне было страшно, это в деревне, когда мы победили, немцы всё время меня хотели убить, так и в последней миссии, когда нужно было продержаться 2 минуты, они растянулись, напомнило Дом Павлова из основы.В общем и целом, хочу сказать, что в общем-то та же самая COD, только в половину порезана, так как это дополнение, но со сложностью переборщили, еле прошел, 3 кампании, и больше всего мне понравилась советская, потом британская.Немного про техническое состояние (то же самое, как и в основе) :В игре нет русского языка, пришлось ставить отдельно. Чтоб поставить свое разрешение да и в принципе full HD зайти в папку с игрой, в файл настроек просто это прописать по гайду. Так еще и скриншоты не делались, в общем, техсостояние по грани.

ДЛС к первой части, даже может быть длительность прохождения такая я же. Ну или чуть меньше.

Call of Duty 1 tutunca aynısını tekrar piyasaya sürmüşler gibi bir şey bu oyun. 1-2 fark dışı oyun tamamiyle aynı. Koşma eklemişler mesela buna teknoloji gelişmiş yani. Ama anlamadığım bir şekilde yapay zekanın daha kötü olduğunu düşünüyorum. Aim'leri hayvan gibi artmış ama salak saçma hareketler yapıyorlar. Bu oyun hakkında benim için en üzücü şey Call of Duty'nin ilk oyununda iliklerime kadar hissettiğim tüylerimi diken diken eden o hissiyatı tam alamadım. Gene oldukça etkileyici ve güzeldi ama bu daha çok oyun olduğunu hissettirdi , içine çok giremedim yani. Yani seriyi oynamak gibi bir derdin yoksa ve ya eski oyunları oynayamıyorsan bu oyuna girmemeni tercih ederim. Benim için oldukça güzel hatta ortalamanın üstünde bir deneyim olmasına rağmen bunları söylemeden geçmek istemiyorum. Ben öneriyorum oynarsanız pişman olacağınızı da sanmıyorum.🅑🅡🅞🅝🅩

Just a continuation of the game, a set of companies from several missions, I want to note that I liked these companies more than the main ones, so 6/10.

That was something. I lost count of how many times I died here, and it was good. Ah, those days when **** was too similar to its predecessor it would be sold as an expansion, and not a new full game...

All misssions in Call of Duty : United Offensive are incredibly well crafted and are as good and some even better than those in COD1. A must play that puts all new COD games to shame.

United Offensive plays like an expansion of the first game probably because that's just what it is. More or less the same experience just with some minor additions and streamlining to make it play smoother. The game is a bit more cohesive then the original because it splits up each nations perspective as its section instead of jumping back and forth with American and Soviet missions. I would maybe give it a better score but the last section of the game at the train yard was so aggravating for me that it keeps my score the same. The rest of the game is good with some interesting levels like in the bomber plane but that last level and a few other small parts of the game are annoying to play.

Great expansion of the first game, definitely recommend it if you played the first game.

I don't recommend it even on sale for the price charged. Playing in 2022 this game is very boring. Same mechanics and gameplay as 1. Just an Expansion with some new missions for the campaign. At the time it must have been good, for being so acclaimed, but today it's better not to buy.

it could be good but not and :( whenever I was going to play it crashes in the menu and when a mission starts after about 30 minutes the game closed by itself ..... If you're going to play this game, it's better to play COD 2003I really regret buying this damn DLC

Huge improvement comparing to the first game. Surpricingly is played more complex and fun for the game that developed 18 years ago. But good direction screwing up with the poor detailed environment (even then) that is ruining good experience from the game.

Лучшая игра моего детства. Местами казалась сложной, но сейчас проходится на одном дыхании за пару часов. Всем рекомендую почувствовать атмосферу, когда Call Of Duty реально была на высоте.

Лучшая игра, лучший шутер своего времени, игра положила новое начало в данном жанре и вывела его на новый уровень. Конечно в 2020 игра смотрится уныло, на 2к разрешение и мониторе 32 дюйма играть уже нормально не получается, все размыто. Но в свое время прошел на одном дыхании 10/10

It does not worth a 10 like the Call of Duty but still very good. More guns than in the first game. The levels are not that realisitc as the first game. Now the multiplayer Made my entire childhood waaay more better. In this Call of Duty , You can drive cars,tanks , destroy the enemy bunkers , It's like battlefield but different.

COD United Offensive is the first and only expansion (known today as DLC) that featured a bonus campaign before COD switched to just MP maps. United Offensive was developed by Grey Matter interactive who previously work on Return to Castle Wolfenstein, a game that is know for been one of the hardest shooters from the golden age of gaming, so... this game is though!!! really though and brutal at times, not recommended for casual gamers. The game features new missions and tree different campaigns: The American, The British and The Russian. In comparison to the first game, United Offensive has better production quality than the base game, more detailed environments, more variation on levels, visually it looks better. The game adds an important component that the base game lacks off... and that is a sprint bottom, now you can move faster to take cover on time to prevent die, which is something that will happen way to often here. As i mention United offensive is not as casual as the base game, here you will need fast reactions, move quickly and have a quick finger, enemies hates you and will crush you fast, part of the difficult relies on the aim bot system that enemies have... this guys won't miss a shoot!!!, still is not impossible to beat, but the failure screen will display a lot during your play time that it will become your new best friend, sometimes you won't know who hit you!!! The story is... still generic as hell, still lacking from memorable characters, but... the battle are now memorable and frenetic. Grey Matter did a good job with this one... shortly after this they were merged into Treyarch.

Call of Duty: United Offensive is just the best part of the series, even better than the 4 parts. Amazing as the 2004 game seems more interesting and variable than Battlefield V and Call of Duty WW2. The plot is excellent, the Soviet company turned out much better than in the original Call of Duty. Properly realize that the COD series began with such beautiful and games and turned into a parody of itself.

Игра отлична. Хорошие если не идеальное продолжение игры. Хороший геймплей. Игра не долгая и не короткая. Игра не лёгкая не которые уровни бросают вызов.

Отлично! Аддон уступает оригиналу, но он всё так же имеет крепкую атмосферу и крутые моменты. Это тоже маленький шедевр, который в принципе просто повторяет оригинал, но делает это отлично, да и уникальных моментов не так уж и мало.

For DLC, it is quite ok. I mean I wanted some time next PC. It is not long feld's game. original, that's why precisely is the DLC. but anyway, is good.

An excellent expansion mod for the extraordinary original Call Of Duty. New weapons, tougher challenges, and most importantly, huge number of German soldiers approaching you from everywhere trying to take you down in one shot. I feel my heart racing insanely whenever I play the game.

best Call of Duty MULTIPLAYER EVER.. period. i have been waiting for the CoD UO part II... but i don't think we will be awarded with such an incredible war multiplaye experience. i'm a CoD veteran since the very first CoD title. CoD4 was the last very good CoD. CoD UO best ever. Modern WarFAIL 2 and it's expansion pack (MW3) are probably the worst. IW & Activision abandoned us PC gamers for the console market.

I mean the graphics, there awesome for there time. Don't say "oh there horrible!" because that was top of the line. And also, mods. Oh i love making mods, its my favorite. I've made a Civil war mod, and a GI Joe mod. Both of them very fun. thank you Grey Matter!

Best WW2 multi-player. Dedicated servers with public files. Mods. Balanced weapons. Excellent maps. Large number of players in multi-player mode. Excellent community-created maps and even new game modes.

Having not played this before, the single-player campaign holds up really well! I daresay the expansion is more challenging and compelling than the main game. The british campaign that begins in an airplane is superb! I'd recommend it to any FPS fan that doesn't mind cranking back the graphics and enjoying a compelling WWII experience.
