Bounty Train is an incredibly complex title, with almost endless possibilities for the player, but at the same time it's accessible and fun, albeit a little bit repetitive.

It's a very interesting take on the management genre, original and complete, even though some aspects (like the shootings) need to be worked on.

Bounty Train is an atypical title, based on the belief that a management may not be completely focused on the pure and ruthless complexity of its mechanics.

An original, but, unfortunately, repetitive and clumsy game. Even if you’re a huge fan of trains, think twice before getting this one.

An interesting concept that lacks proper execution. In the long run the trains have to take an emergency stop in a cul-de-sac, while the battle system is superficial at best.

As charming as it looks, Bounty Train feels a bit empty and uncomplicated. It’s an arrangement of potentially fun mechanics that just fail to gel together into something that is entertaining for more than a few hours. If you don’t mind the idea of mindlessly going from town to town vending your wares, you may still want to pick this up. If you want more, I’d let this train leave the station without you.

I appreciate the solid research behind Bounty Train and pleasant music, but when I failed at the end of the game I realized I’m not willing to sacrifice over a dozen more hours to try again. [09/2017, p.45]
