Absolute masterpiece. Got robbed by not winning game of the year. Nintende, Sony, Microsoft, take notes.

My 5-year-old found it dull and short — and that’s despite not knowing that this buggy and uninventive 1-hour experience cost us $40. I gave it one extra point for how the game somewhat decently reproduces the show’s art style. Everything else is just a disgrace: the games, stories, and adventures feel like the complete opposite of Bluey — nothing to do with the show we loved for its creativity, good humor, and kindness. A textbook example of a shameless cashgrab.

Bluey The Video Game is certainly a game. It is surprisingly pretty quality and faithful to the show. The gameplay is pretty barebones, and it was a bit boring and tedious, but good for kids. 6/10 C-tier

I review this as a gaming parent of a 6yo gamer first : This was a simple collectathon in the Bluey world, with a very basic Bluey story. It's kinda like a montage episode, with storylines/items from the tv episodes, nothing original. My 6yo enjoyed it, but it was a bit simple for him so that is the upper age/ability (he can play minecraft/Mario/many other games no problem) for this game, more suitable to probably around 4yo children/preschoolers. It was a fun 2 hours to complete and get all the collectibles, but even he found it a bit of a slog to get through it. He gave it a 7/10. Now reviewing as an adult/parent : This is a charmless 'episode' of Bluey with plenty of bugs where I had to restart the game, with collectibles not being able to be collected, characters getting stuck,and more. The minigames are a bore and the fun Bluey 'adult' jokes are few and far between, making this far from on par with the wonderful tv show. I'd give it 4/10, but the 6yo insisted it was a 7/10.

I thought it was a simple, yet fun game. Sadly, very short, was able to 100% in 1 day.
