Avatar: From the Ashes still gets bogged down by some "classic" open-world tropes, but this time, most of it doesn't overstay its welcome.
A welcome and massively enjoyable return to Pandora, From The Ashes is an ideal accompaniment to Avatar: Fire and Ash, and one which should further cement the series in sci-fi fans’ hearts.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora From The Ashes transcends the base game and its previous DLCs by delivering a gripping narrative with improved gameplay.

Very good game I liked everything about it but I personally don't like first person games but after the update they also have a third person option and I thought it was brilliant. good game good story and good dlc. Enjoy it!

"From the Ashes" isn't just an add-on, but a self-contained expansion with its own distinct tone. The deliberate reduction of gameplay complexity results in a tight, narratively focused experience. While not every design choice is without controversy, the DLC feels clearer and bolder in its direction than the main **** third-person perspective significantly enhances the overall experience, the dark atmosphere adds a new dimension to the franchise, and Solek delivers a compelling performance.Ultimately, Ubisoft Massive delivers an intense, visually stunning adventure that prioritizes impact over sheer scope—and adds a facet to Pandora that will resonate long after the final page.

A film that really moved meI saw Avatar 3 on Valentine's Day with my fiancée, and it was the perfect choice. This film is not just a spectacle—it really touched me. From beginning to end, I felt that I was watching a mature story, full of real emotions, tension, and difficult choices. What struck me most was that this story doesn't take the easy way out. The conflicts are not simple, the characters are not two-dimensional, and their decisions carry weight. You can feel the responsibility, fear, anger, but also the love and bond that holds everything together. It's no longer just a fight for the planet – it's a fight for family, for the future, and for who you are in the face of danger.I greatly appreciate the fact that the creator does not resort to cheap, shocking deaths just to “amp up” the emotions. The characters live, grow, make mistakes, and learn. Thanks to this, I really bonded with them. I feared for them, I experienced their decisions, and at times I found myself sitting in suspense like never before.I also really liked the way the action was conducted – several locations at once, intertwining characters' fates, a sense of scale and chaos. It created incredible dynamics and made me feel like I was right in the middle of the events. For me, this is cinema that has not been watered down by trends. It still has its own identity, its own pace, and its own soul. And it is precisely for this consistency, emotion, and authenticity that I give it a full 10/10. This is a film that you don't just watch – you experience it.

I hated the base game. This DLC however has everything I wanted the base game to be like. Snappy good fun oldschool ubisoft gameplay (not the newer sponge enemies) 3rd person, cool takedown and moves. beautiful cutscenes. bad ass protagonist with a deep voice instead of the scrawny male voice actor we have in the main game who sounds like a 15 year old nerd. Thank you for finally giving the real avatar game experience. Now give us a sequel like this but with added human perspective and gameplay. (and more glorious takedowns on humans npc's for example.)

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora From the Ashes is an excellent return to the world of Pandora, and addresses many of the original game’s minor faults. The new third-person mode makes the game feel brand new. Better pacing, more streamlined progression, and a darker narrative combine with effective combat and exploration. Players who enjoyed the original will want to pick up this DLC, and even if they don’t, the third-person mode carries over to the base game. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora From the Ashes made my return to Pandora a pleasure.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora - From the Ashes is a simplified yet cinematic story expansion that focuses on the best of the IP, without bogging you down with too much clutter. Its new third-person mode gives the game a whole new feel, and we wouldn’t play it any other way. While Massive missed the mark with its Na’Vi enemies, it's a delight to spend more time in this giant multimedia sci-fi world.

One of the few slices of DLC that can claim to be better than the parent game, as the gameplay of Frontiers Of Pandora is tightened up and the graphics pushed even further.

From the Ashes complements the arc of the main game coherently while providing synergy with the latest film. By introducing a more brutal protagonist and focused, compact missions, it reinforces the saga's core themes without losing the fun. Despite inheriting conventional systems and occasional bugs from the base game, it stands as a solid and visually striking DLC tailored for fans of James Cameron’s universe.

In der neuen 3rd Person Perspektive wirkt das Spiel nochmal deutlich hübscher und es fühlt sich cineastischer an. Mich hat es zu einem weiteren Durchgang motiviert.

(I ameating the main story not dlc) I think it is a great game, that really shows the amazing parts of pandora. There is an interesting story to the game at some point but I think we need more information about either the villains or the characters and clans. And I think some better cinematic cutscenes would have done it. Or atleast to see cutscenes of our Sarentu and ikran. Something I also need to point out is the stupidly designed combat. Even on easy mode (which I am on) the game is way too hard and no I am not an inexperienced player, I have loads of shooting games that holds strategy. But in avatar I don’t think inexperienced people whom have no expirience in combat games will ever be able to complete this game. Also the enemies seem so badly generated, first of all they are able to see us way too fast. Likewhen you’re hiding in a pretty good spot, or so you thought.. before you’ve come to your senses you have to start all over with the quest because of a minor fail.apart from those things I think the game would be interesting for people who have experience in combat games. Atleast if you wanna play the main story and fight RDA. Overall it’s a great game and I could defiently playit for hours. If they made the easy mode easy and not impossible.
