Arcade Islands: Volume One doesn’t short change us in regards the amount of games on offer, but I must stress that you won’t be wowed by any of them and a lot of the concepts have been delivered in a more exciting form elsewhere.

Arcade Islands: Volume One is a bundle of over thirty borrowed ideas, spread across a range of themed islands that encompasses them. While some of these games do indeed relay a good degree of fun, several of them either handle poorly, serve as filler or prove to be more frustrating than they’re worth. There’s certainly some value and depth to this collection, but it’s a far cry from both quality and innovation.

Bought this on sale for 5 USD. Easily worth that price. Probably worth the full price if you have a family. 33 games, most of which are copies of other popular games. They looked at other games that were successful. Good phone games and good arcade games and copied them. So the morals of copying other games aside what we get is many many good games for the price of one. I enjoy playing it. My wife enjoys playing it. And our 13-year-old son enjoys playing it.

Arcade Islands: Volume One , is a great game for kids and kids at heart. It has 33 different games some more fun then others. Some of the controls could be touched up here and there. This game must be played with a group of friends to get the most out of it. Playing it solo is ok but just doesn't let you enjoy the game to the fullest. I highly recommend this game for your kids. I can not wait to see what other volumes they come up with.

In terms of content the game has more than enough to keep you satisfied for ages and you’ll no doubt return to the game time and time again. Each of the 33 games are completely different and whilst some of them aren’t as good as certain games I was still impressed with the variety that was present. Even though the game is pretty fun when played alone without a doubt the best way to enjoy this game is with friends and family. The presentation side of the game sets the scene in each game very well in my opinion and both the visuals and sound design carry the fun factor with them. The whole most of the game’s are pretty fun some of them can be a little frustrating. There is no online multiplayer present which is a shame because it would’ve have given you another reason to return to this collection of game’s. The controls aren’t always responsive as they should be which can be a little annoying from time to time. Does Arcade Islands: Volume One do enough to get a recommendation from me? If you’ve been searching for the perfect party game that offers you tons of different game’s then your wait is finally over. Arcade Islands: Volume One offers you a collection of game’s that can enjoyed by people of all ages thus making it perfect for family meetings and different celebrations and the best thing is that most of the game’s in the collection are very fun indeed. You can also have fun with these game’s when on your own as well but the true beauty of this collection shines at its brightest when played with others and trust me you’ll definitely return back to this collection time and time again. Variety plays a big part in you returning back to this collection because there’s definitely a game here that everybody will enjoy. This collection of game’s does have a few imperfections though and it isn’t perfect but on the whole it still does more than enough to get a recommendation from me because in the end you get lots of replaybility making it great value for your money.
