The four-episode project, which was originally pitched as a movie, firmly replants viewers into the world of Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) and his wild family without missing a beat, and leaves you wanting so much more.

In the end, “The ’Burbs” proves that some neighborhoods are worth revisiting, especially when you know exactly what to dig up.

By the season finale there’s a feeling that Emily has learned a lot from her Italian venture, and discovered more about herself and her love for Paris than she thought possible. It’s a nice bookend to one of the strongest seasons yet, one that reminds viewers why they fell for this show in the first place.

There were multiple twists and a quick pace that kept Episode 1 engaging. Having showrunner Tassie Cameron at the helm is also promising.

Is rooting for one serial killer OK if it means the downfall of many? It’s a utilitarian take that would make the likes of John Stuart Mill and Jeremy Bentham proud, and it’s what makes “Dexter: Resurrection” relevant to the world 19 years after the original series’ debut.

“The Paper” is a heartfelt, Pollyanna look at an industry that still matters, and is filled with fun and watchable characters that feel right at home in your living room week after week.

Overall, “Adolescence” is an addictive but impossibly hard watch, made even more compelling by terrific acting and an intense story that raises relevant questions about society today.

“The Tattooist of Auschwitz” puts the dichotomy of the human spirit on full display, showing the possibility of love and the unimaginable monstrosity that hatred can bring. Or at least it does if you can watch it all the way through.

Hulu's Death and Other Details has all the makings of a great whodunit: entitled rich people living their best lives, an outsider who has infiltrated the inner circle, the working class that hates them all, and a disgraced detective trying to make a splashy comeback. So it's disappointing that, in reality, the series never quite pops.

This is a low-commitment and easy watch that should satiate period piece lovers with its subtle comedy, outlandish recurring characters and gorgeous handmade costumes. But make no mistake: While “Tom Jones” contains themes of identity, class and what it means to be a woman of the time, at its core this is just another situational romcom in britches.
