DOOM8
May 13, 2016
This is a fun FPS, but not groundbreaking by any means. The single-player is fast and the music is awesome. It looks pretty good, but perhaps a little worse than it should be. I haven't gotten incredibly far in the story, but it reminds me a lot of playing DOOM as a kid. Maybe not where I would get lost for like 30 minutes and get pissed off, but just the cool intensity of it. Multi-player is really fun, a bit slower than I'd like, but still faster than your average FPS online. I'm a baby, so I don't like games that make you have to spend every waking hour of your life to get good and this game is nice because you can have both bad games and good games despite your playing level. Overall, fun game, but I'd probably wait till it's on sale

Batman: Arkham Knight6
May 13, 2016
To be clear, I played this game after they fixed the horrible initial port version. It's a Batman game. The voice acting is superb, fighting is fun. Your typical Arkham game. However, one of the things that made Arkham Asylum great was playing as Batman in enclosed areas and stalking your prey. This game has this, but I never really felt like that super cool Bat in the dark type feeling. That's what the first game nailed so well, you were Batman. This game relies too heavily on awful tank battles. Nearly every notable boss battle was in the Bat-Tank. Really disappointing because one of the strong suits of the previous two games was the intuitive and really cool boss fights. This game makes the boss fights probably the least fun part of the game, when it used to be one of the strongest aspects. I mean, you fight Deathstroke in a tank. Deathstroke, the world's greatest assassin, uses a freaking tank to fight Batman. Pretty lame if you ask me. Get it on sale if you want, it's an okay end to the series. Oh and don't you dare buy the season pass. Absolutely awful. Some of the worst DLCs I've ever seen.

The Wolf Among Us9
May 13, 2016
Despite most people giving Telltale's The Walking Dead the title of best Telltale game, I'm going to have to strongly disagree. The Wolf Among Us raises the bar for interactive storytelling because it takes a relatively unknown comic (at least to me at the time of playing the game) and brings it into a perfect gaming medium for it. The voice acting is great and the characters are awesome. I had a blast playing this game. It feels like R-rated Disney, not that it's goofy, but that it takes well-known fairy-tales and brings them into a dark and gritty world. I highly recommend this game. It solidified my belief that Telltale needs to keep making games, even if they have made some questionable decisions as far as what franchises they should take on.

Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series6
May 13, 2016
This game is alright. It's good if you can get it on sale, but really not worth it at full price. The writing is alright. Some people don't like the painted look, but I think it fits GOT. Voice acting is good, but the story just isn't that amazing. Maybe it'll get better if they make a season 2, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. I really enjoy Telltale games, but this is one that I probably could've lived without playing.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Hearts of Stone10
May 13, 2016
They improved upon the one thing that was pretty bad in Witcher 3 and that was the easy boss battles. The story in this expansion is stellar and it is graciously accepted as a longtime Witcher fan.

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition9
May 13, 2016
So, this game is a treasure. This game marks the start of the amazing Witcher saga. So what if it looks kind of dated? So what if the combat is tedious sometimes and little wonky? The storytelling and lore in this game is so good. I'd go so far as to say the story of this game might be better than the main story of Witcher 3. I have a soft spot for this game, but I think you should give it a shot. One note, after the prologue chapter and the 1st chapter. The second chapter is pretty hard to get through because it's awful. Look at a guide, mod it, and try to make it through that piece of **** It's not bad story-wise, but it's so tedious that it made me stop playing the game the first time I went through until I figured out a way the lessen how horrible it was. BUT OTHER THAN THAT! PLAY THIS GAME! It's got a great ending twist and really sets up an awesome trilogy of games.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings9
May 13, 2016
I feel like this game doesn't get nearly enough love. Is it perfect? No. Does it feel like a short bridge between Witcher 1 and Witcher 3? Yes. But it is a thoroughly enjoyable experience. If you like Witcher 3's story. Buy this. It still looks amazing, despite coming out in 2011. It's just a good game. Not a masterpiece like the Witcher 3, but a great game that you will probably spend a good time enjoying. Plus it's practically two games in one because one decision you make in the game changes nearly all the quests in the second chapter. Damn good stuff!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt10

I cannot stress how much you need to play this game. It's the best RPG I have ever had the privilege to play. Yes, I call it a privilege because it raises the bar so stunning high that most RPGs that come out now feel like watered down garbage. Have you ever wished that you could just pick up the life of someone who's way more interesting than you? That's Witcher 3. In Witcher 3, you play as Geralt, a monster hunter who goes across the lands often times falling into situation where he must make difficult choices . It features a perfectly molded, mature, and exciting story. Side-quests feature their own well-written stories. The combat is fluid and sexy. I suggest playing on the highest difficulty, it makes you use all your arsenal, almost making you think like a Witcher. I've never had more fun playing a game. If you can run **** **** wreck some monsters. Masterpiece.

Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth4
May 13, 2016
I'm a huge fan of the Civ series and I was very excited for this version of Civilization. However, since Civ VI is coming out and they've only released one expansion trying to fix this game I can't give it more than a 6. It's just not that great. It's pretty, but everything that makes a Civ game great seems incredibly lacking in this version. Diplomacy is a big deal for me and the diplomacy in this game is AWFUL. It's laughably bad. I suggest buying this if it's ever on a damn good sale. Until then, you might as well stay away.

Sid Meier's Civilization V: Brave New World10
May 13, 2016
This expansion makes the game incredible. It's sad that it seems that it takes the devs three versions of the game until they make it right, but if you can buy on sale then get all the DLC. I've played over 500 hours of Civ V because it's just so relaxing. Experimenting with the many different civs and victories gives the player a lot to do for their money.

Grand Theft Auto V9
May 13, 2016
I almost gave this a ten because it is an almost perfect game with so much to do. The story is great, graphics are incredible, and just about everything else you can think of is carefully crafted. However, Rockstar seems to not be interested in expanding the base single-player experience and instead have focused on trying to push their horrible, grinding multi-player (probably so you spend real money on their fake money). Oh well, I want more heists in single-player because most of my friends don't have GTA V for PC, but I suppose that is a very specific gripe. All in all, buy this game. You won't be sorry.

Tales from the Borderlands: A Telltale Game Series8
May 13, 2016
A good Telltale game. Much better than their Game of Thrones game which is pretty boring. Extremely funny and a lot more intelligent than the humor of Borderlands 2. If you love the Borderlands universe, buy this. If you like Telltale games, buy it. Etc.
