Love this game. Such a refreshing change of pace from the stereotypical game slop that arrives every week. A perfect balance between visuals, sound, story, gameplay, and music. I hope they make more of these types of games.

I thought Death Stranding might be the most original game this year, but Control certainly will be in second, if not first, by the end of the year. The aesthetic is astounding and nothing like I've seen in a game. It reminds one of Cronenberg, David Fincher, or David Lynch. Also it reminds me of the the film Beyond the Black Rainbow - strange, unsettling vibes that get under your skin. The sound, story, and action are beautifully balanced and play off each other. And the combat is fun as hell. Remedy should be proud of what they have done - it's just simply amazing.
