It's a very overrated game. The main issue is a catastrophic lack of depth. The gameplay is repetitive, and fights are dull and unengaging. During missions you are limited to three gadgets that must be pre-selected in advance. There is no inventory, and overall interaction with the world is very limited and scripted. Dialogues are basic and don't impact the story. The graphics are about all it has going for it.

It’s a very short game. The setup is slightly different from Little Nightmares, but nothing too significant. Essentially, if you assume Little Nightmares was 2.5D, this game was made 2.9D, and that’s the difference. There will be a “season pass” with three additional chapters coming during the full next year. Unfortunately, it seems like we’ve been sold an early access game that’s only half-finished, and we have to pay again to get the other half.

It’s a very short and relatively easy game. If you bought a season pass or paid 60 right away, you’ll get three additional episodes. However, you’ll have to wait until summer 26 for the first one and February 2027 (the whole year!) for the last one. Wait for the sale.

The story is a mess and makes little sense. But that’s not always a problem if the gameplay is great, it can still work. Unfortunately, that’s where the next issue comes in. Despite presenting itself as an open-world game, it’s actually very linear. Sure, you can technically go in any direction you like, but you’ll find absolutely nothing there. NPCs bunkers exist, but there’s no way to interact with them, no way to expand map coverage, no way to build anything, and nothing useful to collect. In the end, the only sensible option is to follow the path the game tells you to take. The game mechanics are repetitive and remain the same throughout: bring something from point A to point B, build a road (or monorail), gather or mine materials and repeat.

The game fell apart, and the developers clearly had a hidden agenda to annoy players. Saving schnapps? Seriously? Any creativity related to saves is a dumb decision. I was here to play the story, not to load and save the menu. The game is also filled with repetitive minigames like sleep, eat, and fix your shoes. Combat is sluggish and messy at best. The UI is overwhelming and cluttered. They couldn’t optimize it to display item descriptions and stats, so you have to “peek” at them, which covers part of the screen with other useful information. I don’t recall any other game with similar issues. Unfortunately, these problems led me to abandon the game after just a few hours.Saving schnapps, really? After reading a few professional reviews, I have a feeling the game must be praised because it is French alone. Regardless of that, I played a few hours and found it mostly repetitive, largely QTE based fighting game. Apart from fighting, environment is beautiful but featureless and blank. I think it is the most overrated and overhyped game of the year so far.

Graphics is from PS3 era even with ray-tracing enabled. Fighting two first dragons in a row (why not 3 or 5 in a row, don't ask me) already gives you a good idea about combat - messy, repetitive and unengaging. I can very well see the reason for overwhelming dislike from users.

Most of the missions in the game rely on stealth and the stealth implementation is just bad. I bought it on sale and still regret it to be honest. Overall it just a ubisoft game, if you know what I mean. Incredibly mediocre from every possible perspective, except some visuals. No miracles happened in this case. Just don't buy it, even discounted.

The very first bosses already are a challenge. Not sure why this game must be so difficult. Why claiming this is not a sould clone, where it is clearly a sould clone with some minor differencies. Respawning enemies, unneccessary tough bosses, no option to adjust difficulty. I am sure souls fans are happy because they don't need any story, and the story here is only understood by Chinese. If you none of those and want a balanced single player with a good story, look elsewhere.

This is just another jumpscare "horror". Repeat your jumpscaries 50 throughout a game and its a win! How originally cheap. I guess that is what you do when you have no ideas what to do to make a scary game. When reading about "beautiful visuals" please also note that 95% of the game happens in dark, very dark and even completely dark enviroment. Not sure how many beautiful visuals you can see on the dark screen. Some "puzzels" are rather annoying than clever. Alan's NY level is illogical way thruogh some teleport doors that not possible just to figure out other than try some combinations many times, dealing whith constantly respawning enemies. Sorry, but this "overwhelming acclaim" is a clear hype. It is not all negative in this game, but it is clearly pretty far from very hyped 10.

It is a cheap and lazy port from consoles. No nvidia dlss support (because consoles use amd). HDR doesn't work. Terrible shutters more or less fixed only after 2nd day patch. I am wondering if developers even ran it on a PC before releasing? Manual saves present but do not work and is completely useless. However, they do charge full price for it of course. They like money but don't like to do work, how original. Also, it is a steam game, but good luck trying to run it on a steam deck. It is not optimized at all and anyway always requires internet connection because they are so afraid someone will pirate their precious pile of severely underdeveloped product. Even if all technical issues are fixed, it is unfortunately also not the most fun game to play. The game promotes mele combat by limiting ammo even on the lowest difficulty. But the problem is that combat is repetitive and clumsy mechanics. In the first 5-6 you won't see any unique enemies, but just the same human like monsters. Later there are some small varieties but nothing much. Generator level is so hopelessly boring and repetitive where you are constantly overwhelmed with just EXACTLY the same monsters over and over and OVER again and then AGAIN that I seriously wanted to abandon the game.
