Itorah is a beautiful game and that’s where all the positives end. The story is extremely basic and not very engaging and the characters are not interesting at all. I found myself getting very impatient and just clicking thru all of the dialog. The game play is also not good. The controls are loose and the platforming is very glitchy. I would jump towards a ledge or platform and clip right thru it. Not to mention my character would randomly fly across the screen during multiple jumps. The most frustrating part is when that happens during the final boss. Also, not sure if this is a glitch or not, but when you acquire a new skill it doesn’t tell you what button to push to activate the move. It reads like it should but the button image is missing. Finally the most frustrating aspect was when the game decided to crash on me after the final boss battle. Ultimately, this was not a fun experience for me and I don’t recommend this game at all.

I have purchased every single GT game since the first one on the PS1. I paid $90 for the 25th Anniversary Edition because I was extremely excited to pick up the next numbered game. Played the game for about 3 days and loved every second of it. The graphics are gorgeous, the music is awesome, the cafe menus are a pretty cool way of giving us car history while knocking out a couple races here and there while making a decent amount of credits to buy new cars. Until the most recent patch came out and essentially destroyed my interest in playing it ever again. Polyphony and/or Sony’s greed got the best of them and they lowered the amount of credits you get from races making it damn near impossible to get the cars you want unless you either dedicate your life to playing this game from sun up to sun down OR you can pay the exorbitant prices for the microtransactions. In addition to that, the “always online” requirement is probably the worst thing here. During the maintenance breaks I am unable to play anything besides the music rallies. NO SINGLE PLAYER RACES AT ALL!!!! Why did I just spend $90 on a gahdamn mobile game with predatory microtransactions? They essentially took one of my most hyped and anticipated game of 2022 and completely **** on it. I will no longer be playing this game and will now start playing Forza. At least that game respects me as a player.

This game is literal garbage. They got rid of the mini map because they “wanted the player to get lost and not focus on side quests”, they made the dodging mechanic work only 25% of the time, the whip is a trash weapon and doesn’t hit enemies if they aren’t directly in front of you, every time I use the whip to swing from a bar or branch I’m always afraid that it isn’t going to grab ahold because there is no indication of it going to, there is no auto collect for the shards that the enemies drop, the character isn’t likable and the list goes on and on. Why would you take a proven formula and strip it completely? Don’t waste your time on this heaping pile of trash. If you want to play a great Darksiders game, play the first one. It’s the only good one.

Simply one of the best action adventure RPGs I’ve ever played. It is a sexy cross of Zelda breath of the wild, assassin’s creed and metal gear. The story is perfect, the voice acting is great, the music is awesome, and the gameplay is hot fire and super addicting. I seriously couldn’t put this game down. Can’t wait for the second one to come out.

Literally the worst NFL game ever made. I could’ve stuck with Madden ‘10 and enjoyed it 5 times as much as this heaping pile of trash. Steer clear of this mess. Don’t waste your money. Matter of fact, if you get the inclination to buy it, just send me the money... you’d still get nothing, at least you’ll get the “sense of pride and accomplishment” for helping me pay my bills.

As someone who has only played Secret of Mana 1, 2 and Legend of Mana, I can honestly say that I enjoyed this game a lot. The characters have simple but interesting stories. The gameplay is very fun and reminiscent of FFVII Remake in that you have to constantly change between your characters in order to be effective in battle. The musical score is amazing, which is expected of Square nowadays and I love the fact that they included the original 16 bit soundtrack. Which you can change to at any moment throughout the game. The game does have multiple endings which lends to its high replayability. The only thing that bothered me about the game was the voice acting. There were time when it would be so cringey that I would have to hit X to skip it. It was very obvious that the voice acting budget was lower than usual. All-in-all this was an above average game for me and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of lighthearted action RPGs.

This game is.... special. It has a great aesthetic and i love the 3D pixelated character design but that isn't enough to make me happy with my purchase. The story is very simple, the characters are charming (to a degree) but quickly get annoying and the battle system is a waste. The characters automatically battle while only giving you a limited amount of control during the battles to make a slight change or heal a character. The dialogue can get repetitive and some of the jokes between the characters can be funny at times, but are a bit cringe-worthy. I like the premise of the dungeons but i hate the way you traverse them. it is a grid based system and its VERY basic. This game is average at best. I would only recommend it if you dont have anything else to play. Otherwise, just pass on this one.

First off I want to say that this game had great potential, but it felt short in more ways than I can count. The game is beautiful (especially the concert hall), charming and the music score is phenomenal. And that's where all of the pros end. The game is littered with glitches and EXTREME slowdown. The battle mechanics are clunky, the controls make no sense, the story is weak, the enemies are super easy, the quests are grindy and you are limited to only 4 items at a time. I bought this game for $2 off of PSN and I would say that I'm glad I didn't pay any more. I guess the redeeming factor of this game is that it's an easy platinum....

I had been eyeballing this game since it was first announced and waited in anticipation for its release only for it to not meet my expectations. Pros: Great animation style and controls, the music is fantastic, the patch system is a unique and fresh take on stats upgrades, the gadget builder is a fun idea, and thats where the positives end. Cons: The game is VERY repetitive, the story is weak, character development wasn't really there, the enemies are easy, and the game is shooooooort! The game's biggest shortfall is the rogue-like elements. Because of how small the map is, the constant reshuffling of the map every time you die or end a run became very mundane and did nothing to excite me. I quickly got bored and just wanted to finish the game so that I could move on. This game had so much potential to be something great and it fell flat in my eyes. It was a huge disappointment after all the waiting that I did.

Everyone that’s complaining about this game is acting like they didn’t know what they were getting into with a Kojima game. This game is very much in line with Kojima’s style. It’s a story rich, immersive, low action game. The plot is very unique and the characters are very well developed. The acting/voice acting is top notch and the soundtrack fits the environment and feel of the game perfectly. The graphics are phenomenal and world is HUGE!! I love the idea of “connecting” with other players around the world through gameplay. This game is definitely slow paced, which is fine for someone like me who enjoys RPGs and a story that grabs me. Not everything needs to be a fast paced, action toting, shooter with tons of loot. All of you complaining that this game is boring have no depth and should just stay away from this game. It was never advertised as anything but a Kojima game and if you are a fan of Kojima you know exactly what you’re getting yourself into!

Lag, bugs, boring half-assed storyline and jokes that fall flat. Not what is expected of a “AAA” game. Gearbox, don’t you have a QA department? Maybe you should function check your product before taking people’s money. Never buying another Gearbox game.
