Great game given It's age and while it does feature a lot of backtracking and a ton of areas with difficult enemies sometimes just spammed through them I'd say the ending compensates for it, it really feels rewarding.

I don't understand why people dog on this It's actually a great game for what it is and I know it lacks the full contents of the original Resident Evil 3, but for what it is it's great.

Amazing faithful remake, but what held it back for me was needing a guide at all to finish the game as I got stuck in certain sections (mainly the mansion area)

This game while having a decent Resident Evil story for it's time and gorgeous pre-rendered backgrounds, but it's also difficult for the fact that I struggled to know what to do and had to use a guide just to finish the game.
