I am enjoying it so far. The game is very attractive with the one exception of the water pouring out of glass. Full mobility across the environment. I was very interested by the prospect of an exploration game and I was not let down. The environment is interesting and well varied. It is also quite big, I haven't managed to make it all the way around the island yet.

The Walking Dead: Episode 1 - A New Day0
Sep 19, 2012
This is a point and click adventure focused on dialogue. It has a cheesy mechanic where the time clicks down and if you are too slow in choosing what you want to say, the listener will think you are lying. The game see black and white truths and doesn't understand complexity. In a game that is all about dialogue, this is just painful to play.

Amazing game, deep gameplay, plenty of replay value. Game breaks a good bit of new ground in strategy games, well worth the time and attention. avoid the subreddit and wikis however, more fun to discover things yourself.

THE CONTROLS ARE SPOT ON. ANYONE WHO COMPLAINS ABOUT CONTROLS IS JUST A NOOB. The game is excellent. I use a Razr Onga which is extremely good. Being able to play Dark Souls anywhere I go on my laptop is something I have been waiting eagerly for ever since I heard about the release.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution1

The worst thing is having to listen to the god awful dialogue. The writers in this game... I want to kick them very hard. I preordered and the sheer amount of stuff they gave to preorders was angering. This game is probably good on a lower difficulty setting where the issues don't pop out at you so much. When you play any game at a higher difficulty it either shines or turns to **** Deus Ex turns to ****.

Another title claiming to be the heir to Master of Orion 2. I buy every title that claims to be that heir. I guess it's my fault, I should just go play that game.

They fixed the matchmaking. Fun mechanics, original gameplay, definitely worth $30 but it is only $15. Grappling hooks, roller skates, glide bombers, trampolines, ice guns, all implemented well with the whole package. Must buy.

**** is a great company. Hands down. They made some mistakes with Elemental, but they worked on it. They develop with passion. They responded to users concerns and fixed them. They even went so far as to give their sequel to customers who bought War of Magic at the launch. I would definitely return to them and look forward to any game they release.

This game is amazing. I thought I should review it considering the countless days I have spent enjoying Dayz. Revolutionary gameplay even in alpha state. This will spur an entirely new direction for game design in what you could even call a new genre.

Brilliant game, I wish they had simply just released more maps for this game than releasing it's sequels. Where did they go wrong from here to the next game?

This is one of my top 10 games that I have played. It is one of those games that defines what you look for in other games and often makes you feel something is lacking until you go back to it.

Very fun game for free. Simple as that. Yes they release op new content that unbalances the game. The new raider gun is nuts op. But it's still a very fun game for free. You can choose to buy stuff, or you can unlock it with xp. It will take a very long time with xp, but you can do it. The most expensive weapons are 100k xp. You get probably an average of 500xp per match if you performed decently.

This game is a good deal of fun when a server just starts. After that it gradually becomes stagnant and something akin to farmville with "diplomacy" if you can call dealing with (at a loss for words to describe) these types of personalities through chat. Me and my friends have had fun, but then again we're all stopping once Diablo 3 comes out and we simply wanted a game for the interim. Information on strategy is sparse and you will find yourself often regretting technology decisions you have made. Battle AI is god awful. I have sent my troops at the right side wall and they wrap around to the front. A small gap in a wall rendered my troop ai impotent. They all just stood there waiting for the troops in front to slowly trickle through the gap, while the enemy archers picked off the troops as they trickled through.

Sure you can go grab loot in the battlefield and its fun for about 40 minutes. Then you have a full loot bag and wonder what to do with it. You decide to go back to the city and sell your loot. Or so you thought, but no vendor can be found? That's right, instead you have to stash it in your 1 vault box or drop in on the ground for others. The ONLY way to get gold is to put down $CASH$. So have fun paying to win if you want, but I would recommend looking elsewhere or simply being realistic and buying a game where it's cash up front and gameplay isn't designed to make you spend.

Painful to play, poor interface control and execution. I can hardly see where the enjoyment comes in this game unless you simply like your units to tell you "yes m'lord." Purchases prices are very high and effect gameplay significantly.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 30
Feb 10, 2012
Well, back to Modern Warfare 2 I guess. Modern Warfare 2 had better map design, weapon design, spawn placement, sound design, kill streak design and frankly weapon proficiencies are a step backward. Any fps should have to pass 2 tests:
The pistol test. Can a great player win with a pistol?
The unlock test. Is the game balanced enough to make a level 1 player be able to compete evenly? Proficiencies undo this.

A paradigm of game design, though challenging. You will die, so a word of advice, spend those souls before you lose them. Read the Dark Souls wiki, it will help a lot.

If you're a casual player who has money to burn or a spineless game reviewer then you will probably like this game. If you're a serious shooter fan, don't waste your money. Zero unlockables (beyond cosmetic) No innovation beyond armor powers -Running as a class? Really? C'mon. STILL old school shooter, weapon spawn camping Little variety in weapons The critics are all too spineless to really highlight the lack of innovation in what the game is all about, the combat. Instead they talk about how fully featured other aspects of the game are.
