Gorgeous design of locations and bosses, the logical conclusion of the story. For me personally, it lost in atmosphere compared to the previous parts, but not in vain. The number of cool and relatively difficult bosses far exceeds previous games, the open world has many places to explore and have fun with friends.

Unlike first and third games in the series, Dark Souls 2 dives into local history, which is mesmerizing if you like castles, knights, and the Middle Ages. Loses in smoothness to the third game, to the story of the first, but still a great experience. Music, combat system, atmosphere are wonderful. The only thing that annoys you if you have little free time is the presence of many nondescript locations and bosses. Recommended to play with friends.

Super unique gameplay based on cycles and smart use of resources. The concept of this world is fascinating. At the same time, the world is empty and the gameplay is too repetitive. I would say 8/10 is based on my personal preference.

Technical flaws cannot overshadow the depth of the plot and gameplay of this game. The realistic inconstancy and brutality of the game world makes you think about the topics covered and the thoughts behind them. A large number of unique or unusually presented mechanics are also a plus.

Locations and events are woven into the musical accompaniment, variety and pace support immersion most of the time. I understand those who get tired of wandering, because sometimes this feeling overtakes me too. But try looking at it from a different angle. Sit alone at 1 am in the dark and wander around the location listening to music. There is no point in rushing to the end, the point of such an experience is to relax.

Simply put, a masterpiece. Great one-piece plot with lots of engraved details. At the same time, the presentation is unobtrusively woven into surroundings, for the realism and atmosphere of which game designers deserve special praise. The combat system is fair and balanced. The player chooses his difficulty, but not by clicking on the menu, but by making in-game decisions. Some of the songs are beautiful, the ending can bring you to tears. The motivation it gives is unimaginable. There are flaws, but this is one of the few games that I'm willing to give 10/10. So I do it.

This is an interesting idea and a good implementation of the book (the plot isn't great, but it's solid). I appreciate ideas as long as the gameplay doesn't get in the way of the experience. Unfortunately, this is the case in some parts of the game. However, I recommend that you play this game if you are ready to experience inconvenience.

The game is relatively monotonous and drawn-out, elements of horror appear only occasionally. The pace and new storytelling style ruined the atmosphere of the first two games. However, the weapon crafting system is a great innovation that adds replay value to the game. Co-op only improves this side of the game.

One of the best co-op experiences of the decade. The combination of a unique style, a well-thought-out combat system and RPG elements does the trick. The amount of visual and verbal humor is also a plus. The main storyline is solid, with most of the DLC's retaining the spirit of the original game.

Compared to the first part, it looks very crooked and uninteresting. The gameplay mechanics are just not good.
