Can't say enough good things about this show. The premise had me hooked within the first 10 minutes. The humor and the subtle 'humanness' of the characters and the voice actors put it in a league of its own. Very interesting show that I can't get enough of.

This show is THAT bad. The critic reviews are high because it's almost impossible for a publication to stay in business without writing sponsored articles. So (just like every other product review online) websites take money from the producer or their marketing agencies to publish content for them. In short, Amazon pays for positive reviews. It's difficult to believe, but this show is not only nonsensical in its poor storytelling and shallow, unlikable characters, but outright boring. Even the special effects look cheap. It's just so, so bad in every regard, and SO, SO far removed from its source material and the movie trilogy as well that it feels offensive. I feel like I've done a crime against all of the great storytellers and genuinely talented creators by giving Amazon my money to watch this garbage. The Rings of Power is an an antagonizingly perfect example of how corporations will shovel out absolute trash and expect us to eat it up like the unsophisticated consumers they think we are. Insulting trash this show.
