What a hot stinking mess. This game was supposedly built upon Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, but the final product hardly bears a resemblance to its muse. What an achievement though, Ubisoft Singapore has singlehandedly proved that it is indeed capable of stripping any sort of enjoyment, fun, or joy related to gaming. It is a pity that in the wake of so many layoffs seen in the gaming sector in 2023, dysfunctional outfits like this still think it is okay to release a game this shoddy and keep their jobs in the process. What an utter shame.

Updating this score for the most recent Winterwhatever update. Laziest and most predatory monetary-wise in terms of so called content update gor a live service game. Blizzard openly flaunts its contempt of its playerbase while it continues to act in service of its Activision Overlord. This means it continues to disguise recycled content as seasonal updates, shoves out the most desultory of cosmetic designs that sits arrogantly behind ANOTHER pay-to-grind paywall. Don’t bother sinking any time or effort in this game. Overwatch now serves as a cautionary tale if not as a shrill canary-in-the-odious live service gaming mine gleefully exploited by the Activision ilk.

Gave it a shot at launch, and came back to it when I read news about the dev updating its performance. This game is so hilariously bad, I wouldn’t recommend it even as a free download.

Nice graphics but the storyline is too contrived. Glaring plotholes but understandable given how long ago the first instalment was. Main feeling I got was “let’s just get this over with” during my playthrough. Gorgeous visuals.
